FREE TO PLAY THAT’S WORTH YOUR TIME

A fair and fun progression system turns the effort of building a competitive collection of cards into pure pleasure — simply collect new cards to build decks with as you play GWENT; no strings attached.

STUNNING, ALL ACROSS THE BOARD

Beautiful, hand-drawn art and mesmerizing visual effects breathe life into every card, battle and battlefield, making GWENT fun to play and every duel a joy to watch.

SKILL BEATS LUCK

Crush the enemy with brute strength or outsmart them with clever tricks — no matter your deck, GWENT’s unique round-based gameplay opens up a world of strategic possibilities to play with when fighting for victory.

MORE THAN ONE WAY TO PLAY

Whether it’s a quick online game against a friend, a highly competitive PvP challenge, or something new and wildly adventurous like the Arena, GWENT’s selection of game modes has got you covered.

EASILY SATISFYING, ANYTHING BUT EASY

Sling cards from your deck across two tactically distinct rows — melee and ranged. Gather more points in the duel against your opponent to win a round. Win two out of three rounds to win the battle. It won’t be easy, but no one said it should be.

NO HOLDING BACK, NO HOLDING HANDS

You start with 10 cards from your deck in hand, able to play each card right from the start. It’s up to you to open the game with your strongest unit, or save the best for later in the fight. How will your deck look and what will your strategy be?

The game requires an online connection to play and offers optional in-game purchases.

This isnt gwent

I am currently playing through Witcher 3 for the first time and Gwent is highly addicting. That being said this game is not gwent its some sick twisted un inventive hearthstone clone. Theres no strategy like in the real game.

What in the seven nekkers happend?

I was very pleased to play gwent from witcher 3 with friends. Even after update, that changed it more into MtG or HS type of game it was fun to play, with lot of differend strategy and lot of carts that you were chaising. Right now? What is this crap? Its not a game i beta-tested! Every card you can place anywere you want, boosts are so overpowerd that you need only fev unit and rest of hand to boost to win, there is no strategy, only throwing random card that you drawed from your deck. And What was most important in gwent? To know when to surrender. They changed it into "never surrender" - because even if you overhelm your opponent you get punished for being better. TL:DR - It's not gwent, they lied to betatesters, if you want to be sane - dont play this thing

I played more than 700 hours in beta and more than 100 in this new gwent i dont like new gwent is soooo slow and boring. Maybe i will give the game a new chance with the december patch but im just burn out from this game. I will follow the news but i will not play for a time

Terrible ...

I loved GWENT in the BETA days... Not so much this mess. Visually, the gameplay UI is jumbled and clunky. Turning the "card table" in a mud pit for no reason makes zero sense, and having the leader "cards" actually be "real" people (or monsters, elves, etc.) is just a mangled and jumbled up gameplay equivalent of a mixed metaphor ... people who represent cards leading cards who represent people onto a battlefield that represents a table that represents a battlefield - the effect is quite lame, actually ... The abysmally slow leader animations add nothing but distraction and are an excruciating waste of time. The leader and passive faction abilities of the closed beta, and even late beta leader cards (that were actually cards) made a lot more sense, fit the theme of a "card game" much better, and didn't waste so much time. Hey, CDPR ... Most of us have played the Witcher games ... we know you know how to animate a 3-D computer model of a guy in armor holding a sword ... there's no need to shoehorn it into GWENT where it makes no sense! Thanks to the addition of nonsensical things like "orders" and "charges" and sluggish leader abilities, turns that used to be crisp, clear, and succinct have become slow, painful, and confusing ... Matches take way too long to resolve - and even if you win, you don't really feel like you've accomplished anything ... every deck is a generic control deck; you just happened to hang on one card longer than the other guy did due to a lucky draw ... WTF were we testing for nearly 3 years? Oh well ... bottom line, if you liked GWENT - the REAL one :) - you probably won't like this imposter.

Update rolled in.

I was having a pretty good time until the update rolled in. Aspects of the board became dynamic and animated, that's cool. Unfortunately I don't find the gameplay as interesting anymore. I unistalled it. I might try it again after awhile. Maybe it will seem more interesting after I wait awhile and forget how it used to be.
