FREE TO PLAY THAT’S WORTH YOUR TIME

A fair and fun progression system turns the effort of building a competitive collection of cards into pure pleasure — simply collect new cards to build decks with as you play GWENT; no strings attached.

STUNNING, ALL ACROSS THE BOARD

Beautiful, hand-drawn art and mesmerizing visual effects breathe life into every card, battle and battlefield, making GWENT fun to play and every duel a joy to watch.

SKILL BEATS LUCK

Crush the enemy with brute strength or outsmart them with clever tricks — no matter your deck, GWENT’s unique round-based gameplay opens up a world of strategic possibilities to play with when fighting for victory.

MORE THAN ONE WAY TO PLAY

Whether it’s a quick online game against a friend, a highly competitive PvP challenge, or something new and wildly adventurous like the Arena, GWENT’s selection of game modes has got you covered.

EASILY SATISFYING, ANYTHING BUT EASY

Sling cards from your deck across two tactically distinct rows — melee and ranged. Gather more points in the duel against your opponent to win a round. Win two out of three rounds to win the battle. It won’t be easy, but no one said it should be.

NO HOLDING BACK, NO HOLDING HANDS

You start with 10 cards from your deck in hand, able to play each card right from the start. It’s up to you to open the game with your strongest unit, or save the best for later in the fight. How will your deck look and what will your strategy be?

The game requires an online connection to play and offers optional in-game purchases.

From Greatness to Garbage

The Beta was so much better than the full release. This has ended up being an advertisement for throne breakear at the expense of of a great game. I played over 100 hours of the Beta for all that progress to be lost and the fundamental game to be completely changed. I feel the design choices made here are stupid and the game we are left with is unbalanced. Even with the full release in the past week an update has been released leaving all my decks unplayable I have no idea what the develepors are thinking I really tried to give this game a chance but its completely ruined and nothing is being done to make it better, if anything it just keeps getting worse!

So long, Gwent

I have spent about nearly a thousand hours in BETA gwent. Every deck is awesome and I just cannot stop thinking about it. And it is the only card game that I think I can totally "control" the deck I built. To play a card or not, is always a choice. Though my highest mmr is 4216 and I have never been to r21. But it is an honor beening a BETA gwent player. In homeleaving, well, I get nothing to say. So long, Gwent.

Skill-based, Beautiful, Very minimal RNG

The art is beyond amazing, the UI is far above standard and is getting better with every iteration (they listen to feedback on this!), the gameplay is intricate and skill-based. Sound design team also did an amazing job. The rewards system is very fair, making the game far, far less grindy than Hearthstone/Artifact. It's the quality I expect from CDPR. I still have a couple of issues with the UI (some buttons being too small, some not having hover-text descriptions), and wish we could select different background music in the main menu (listening to the same track can get tiring), But Gwent is definitely the type of game that I want to see succeed in the current gaming market.

Simply amazing

I recently came back to GWENT and I'm really happy with the changes after beta. The game play is more intuitive, more fluid and it focused on main game strategies rather than recruiting or random effects. The decision to make it two lanes also made the interface cleaner and it is much better to understand the game state. The reward system was also much improved, along with statistics and achievements. The game looks better with the bigger cards, the leaders on the battlefield, two lanes and the new premium cards are just beautiful to look at, not to mention all the music. I was really happy and decided to buy Thronebreaker and to pre-order the new expansion, I'm really enjoying myself right now. Do consider coming back if you are on the fence.
