Lately I feel that games always go the same direction and don't have a lot of unique aspects. That's why I like the ... "weirder" games. But this one is a new level in it's own category of "weird game". It's the only game I know about that has such little gameplay (more on that later). - Little gameplay at the start. Funnily enough, it takes a while but at the last levels there are quite complex puzzles. - Starts slowly. It's even a metaphore of how empty the world is, at the start... - Amazing music. Amazing art. Beautiful scenarios. very emotional. If you are less of the action shooters and more of the emotional/unique games, this is a no brainer in my opinion.

There is no other word for it. Short and self-contained, beautifully minimalist art and sound. The puzzles are new ways to play, more than tricky things to be solved. This is the best game I've played this year. Installs/plays perfectly even on older machines. It takes you on a beautiful, memorable trip. That should be worth at least as much as your beverage of choice, yeah?

So, the price to amount of game ratio, in my opinion, is a little steep... If you can grab this on sale it's ideal. However, this is definitely one of those games that is "not just a game." Will it present you with challenges? Yes. Will it be entertaining... yes, very. Will it wow you with it's colors and music? Surely it will. But where this game shines is not just the fact that it is a fantastic game, but that it tells a fantastic message: Loss hurts, and can even cripple you. But life goes on, and though you hurt you can still live. This game allows the player to peek into the thoughts of someone experiencing great loss, and how it affects them mentally, physically, and emotionally. I recommend this game to anyone who has experienced loss, or anyone who wants to learn to sympathize with others who have. This game is not only a piece of art. It is also an emotional experience.

It's really nice looking game and I'd want to play more, but crashes on MACOS (latest stable version on new MBP) prevent me from doing that.

Breathtaking animation with exceptional soundtrack, including an extra puzzle minigame. Humanity has been doomed right from the start. Even before a person is born, death is already certain. And yet we as a species, knowing full well our own finitude, still struggle to live. It is precisely this struggle that gives beauty to our fleeting existence. 10/10
