If EA/CodeMasters has a baby....
... it would be this toxic waste ! Grip is everything made EA/CM racing games bad ! Devs and artists made globally a great job, game had potential, but designer(s) ruined it with a snap of a finger ! - difficulty is just a word, "easy" have a different meaning from them and us, game designer(s) obviously don't know what "easy" mean, you're barely allowed some tiny mistakes in "easy" races, - we never see how much XP we've got, - opponents are +/- on rail, they know where tracks limits are, we don't, there is not enough hints to see this, no recon, no map (if devs even know what the track looks like), - the "radar" is pretty pointless, it's stay fixed, only dist relative to opponents, what the point ? Distance to "finish" sometime increase, most of the time stay the same. - garage's stuff are purely cosmetic, no improvement to vehicle stats, - UI is poorly designed as sometime mouse is not needed and sometime abolutely mandatory ! This is a BIG mistake, - you can't get off the game while competing in a "championship", so if there are 10 very long races... you have to complete them all in a row, - you can't browse championship standings, - the campaign menu is also very badly designed, first option = new campaign ! "Continue campaign" comes second, - when we're put back on the track, it's always far behind others (1st => 8/9 at slow speed so we end up last quickly) opponents are put back right in front of us ! - championship completion count isn't accurate, it always miss one (doing one champ => completed: 0 !! sync issue ?) - car behave like crap and bounce all around too easily This game was maybe one tiny month away to be a success, did they ran out of money before ? Were they just dumb as hell ? Who knows ? So much work wasted for nothing. Conclusion => DO NOT buy it, even on sales, even for one little penny, maybe even if they pay you back to get it !

Missing features
When I saw this game up for grabs, I remembered the good PS1 days of playing Rollcage Stage 2 and I wanted to experience the nostalgia again. As enjoyable as it was, I was disappointed there isn't any support for controllers and no online mode. What grinded my gears the most is how I was seeing my IRL name displayed in-game instead of my username. I noticed it when I tried to stream the game once but quickly shut it down. For these, I'll have to settel with 3 stars. I'd have given 4 stars if controller use was supported but that's my final impression.
