This game, man...
Gothic 2 has that intangible quality that I can't put to words... It's jank top to bottom but man does it feel good to be in Myrtana. It pulls you in and keeps you there for hours and hours. Just like your mom!

A VERY, VERY strong game (Especially with the ADD-ON). The entire series was magnificent and yet sadly under rated in some quarters of the gaming press. I suppose you can forgive this when you've a limited amount of playing time to devote with a press release imminent but this is a game (And indeed series) that has a HUGE amount of depth and freedom which no one with any RPG interest should ignore. The genre has expanded in many diverging ways since this release but those new RPG's that ignore the lessons delivered by games such as this have and will fail. Treat yourself, buy this it's gaming as gaming should be, you won't regret it.
