Gorogoa

I've been playing adventure games my whole life and this was one of the most unique and beautiful games I've ever played. I was able to beat it without hints and it was so satisfying I scarcely have the words. The art and concept are beautiful, it's a very cerebral game, truly an interactive work of art.

This game is hard to describe. It's beautiful. It's different. It's clever. But is it a puzzle game ? I'm not really sure how to answer that question ... I think that perhaps this game can best be described by comparing it to the Amanita games (Samorost, Botanicula, ...). I have a feelng that if you like those, you will also like Gorogoa. Did I enjoy playing it ? Not really. I feel sad saying that, because I really wanted to like it. I have nothing but the highest respect for this developer.

It's not difficult to master the rules. The wonderful and beautiful painting style is very comfortable. The whole process took more than an hour. It is recommended to buy at a discount.

Beautiful, inventive and emotional. Played it twice, first time to solve the puzzles & admire the artworks (which are breathtaking), then to fully absorb the story. I wish it could be longer, but even at the current lenght it's absolutely worth playing. It can be challenging at some levels, but not once have I felt frustrated.

The game is amazing (as already said in the title but really it is). I played it from start to finish in the same session. Sadly, it's so great that when the end is reached, you need more. I never see a puzzle game like that before. It's not only a game but Art (notice the uppercase). Graphics, musics, gameplay are beautiful. If one day you sell an art book, count me in. Still trying to understand all the background. I think you can have different feeling depending on your own life experiment... A must have ! Thanks to the authors :-)
