Before man climbed down from the trees to shop in megastores and drink cappuccino, before the Earth wadded itself into a cool blue ball, before the Moon even existed, there was the Island. The Island, a massive fragment of a long-lost planet, hurtling blindly through space. Upon the surface of this paradise wanders the giant, Kabuto. Little does Kabuto know that the Island was home to others before him. In the oceans, there dwells a matriarchal race called the Sea Reapers. In their pride, they created Kabuto, as a defense against intruders. But Kabuto became conscious of himself, his loneliness, his pain - and he went berserk.
Space castaways, the Meccs piloted their ship through space, looking for their missing friends. If you haven’t guessed already, they ended up on the Island. Faced with yet another unscheduled layover while on their way to Planet Majorca, the Meccs decide to make the best of their temporary home. Just their luck - the natives are already embroiled in their own little war, and the Mecc visitors are most unwelcome!

I loved playing Giants, especially in Multiplayer mode.
The Single player mode had a very good story, with jokes and laughs at every cut scene.
The game was unique when it first came out.
I loved the idea of the base building, having 2 types of races VS a Giant, and the game play was very well done.
If you are a fan of single player games, and an even bigger fan of Multiplayer games, you will love Giants.
One of the best crazy humor shooter...
One question, why there's no Polish veersion?
In one of CD-ACTIONS or CLICK'S there was a patch with polish subbs and dubbing.
Please include them :)
I tried this at a friends some years ago, it's SO fun to play LAN with this.

You can't save manually and the saving locations are way too sparse while the game's objective are not always so intuitive which means you're dying in battle or fail your mission objective you're gonna do the same thing all over again while restarting before an animated sequence so it gets tedious pretty fast to hear the same flat jokes again and again. Maybe it gets better later on hence the over-the-top reviews, I can't say as I gave up after about an hour.
I wish the game, like it's Playstation 2 counterpart, had manual saves but it's not the case for some reason.
