Put your sword to the test in Ghostrunner Demo here
Ghostrunner is a hardcore FPP slasher packed with lightning-fast action, set in a grim, cyberpunk megastructure. Climb Dharma Tower, humanity’s last shelter, after a world-ending cataclysm. Make your way up from the bottom to the top, confront the tyrannical Keymaster, and take your revenge.
The streets of this tower city are full of violence. Mara the Keymaster rules with an iron fist and little regard for human life.
As resources diminish, the strong prey on the weak and chaos threatens to consume what little order remains. The decisive last stand is coming. A final attempt to set things right before mankind goes over the edge of extinction.
As the most advanced blade fighter ever created, you’re always outnumbered but never outclassed. Slice your enemies with a monomolecular katana, dodge bullets with your superhuman reflexes, and employ a variety of specialized techniques to
prevail.
One-hit one-kill mechanics make combat fast and intense. Use your superior mobility (and frequent checkpoints!) to engage in a never-ending dance with death fearlessly.
Ghostrunner offers a unique single-player experience: fast-paced, violent combat, and an original setting that blends science fiction with post-apocalyptic themes. It tells the story of a world that has already ended and its inhabitants who fight to survive.

Good game.
It has its bugs and things that could get better, that is why it is no 5 star.
But game is fun, exciting, and handcrafted. Also, the game ran really smooth in my not-so-good-for-games laptop.
... and also in the future, 3dimensional with a grappling hook and wallrunning - maybe some rotating giant laser-thing that turns you into a little frog caught in a washing mashine full of barbed wire? If you are the person that craves these things, this game is for you.
Just like it is for me. Wonder if I will ever beat that spinning laser thing ...
I've waited a long time for such a game. Challenging levels, dynamic action, arthistic design, good music. No unnecessary elements in the game. Tutorial is short and not boring. Fights and parkour (actually two very main things we do in the game) are difficult and sometimes it takes many tries to pass them but I gained a lot of satisfaction getting (and feeling) more skill after each one. Although sometimes fights can be frustrating. Fortunetely, after fail game doesn't load, character just respawns immediately at the last checkpoint, so it's possible to take another attempt at once.
I recommend.
(I run it on i7-950 with GTX960 and interestingly it works smoothly and quickly at high settings.)
I bought Ghostrunner on a whim because I saw high praise for it as it was about to release from journalists and reviewers. The game looked and ran fluid when I played the demo and I had decent fun with it. Having played through the game now, I can safely say the game is... alright. I think reviewers definitely praised it to high heaven but at the same time I get why they might like this game. I only briefly glanced through them so I'm admittedly at fault.
While Ghostrunner is nothing amazing, it's a decently enjoyable game. For context, I've thought about it and realized I usually don't like a game being the middle of the road. Games in this area tend to be difficult to enjoy becuase it doesn't do anything particuarly well or bad. It just ends up boring. However, there is an area near middle of the road I'm finding myself increasingly missing as I've played the newest "big hig releases." Games that don't do anything particuarly unique, but stay simple, short, and concise. Ghostrunner lands in this category. The most unique thing I can think of in regards to it is the upgrade system. Essentially, it's a tetris grid that is limted and your upgardes are tetris blocks. Whatever you fit into the tetris grid is what you equip. It's interesting and I like it. Otherwise, the game runs relatively fine. The gameplay is fairly smooth. Aside from some rough segments of platforming here and there, it's fairly smooth and enjoyable too. The story was not very good but the performance from the Architect is pretty good in my opinion. The levels while fairly detailed are unfortunately all pretty similar.
Overall, Ghostrunner is decent. It sticks with a simple concept and expands on it just enough to keep it fresh. It's fairly short as well (which I'm finding increasingly attractive as I am burnt out from AAA games that don't know their limits). There is replayability if you want to find the collectibles or replay challenges. What you see is what you get and I'm alright with that.
The Game is Great but i lost my save file 3x times ...
So i gave up, i was almost finishing the game 80% more or less, but i wans´t able to start a 4th time
