Description
Become a made man as you vie for power in a Chicago-like town during the prohibition era. Gangsters is the strategy game where crime pays--and with dividends! You can don the knuckle dusters and “persuade” the local business owners to pay you for “protection” services. You can get your hands even more dirty and navigate in the cutthroat world of politics. Or simply go for the throat as you order your wiseguys to execute your enemies in the streets and show the city who’s “da boss”. Gangsters gives you all the power you need to get things done.

Played in a vast city filled with over 5,000 individual characters, Gangsters feature real-time action in a highly detailed isometric terrain. The game sports an easy-to use strategy planning interface, to authentically recreate the seedy, violent, and ruthless world of gangland mobsters. Remember, real power is never given, it’s taken!

Excellent nostalgic romp

You can read all the other reviews to get a handle of the gameplay. I cannot add any more inspirational details. My review is to counter those 1 star reviews revolving entirely around not running on Windows 10. I discovered how to play the game on Windows 10. Does not work on windows 10

I could have swore it said the game was compatible on Windows 10 but it is not, So far I've only found 1 fix (allegedly) but I'm not going to download this, download that and install things only to find out they don't work either. Oh well, it was only $1.49 but still a waste of money and I wanted so bad to play this game because it was fun.

Please fix this absolute gem

My lord was I disappointed. This and Gangsters 2 with Joey "bloodbath" Bane informed my childhood and I was more than excited to play this. I know enough about computers to get why it doesn't operate. Tried everything, much like Alpha Protocol it just seems lost to time at this point and my memories will have to be enough. Had to refund, giving the product 5 stars because I don't have the heart to rate something so great one star because its not the 90s anymore.

Used to play it a lot!

The game brings so many memories! I used to play this as a kid, all the time after school and homeworks haha... Beware though, the game will not work out of the box on Windows10. You need to follow the instructions on this Github page: https://github.com/elishacloud/dxwrapper/wiki/Gangsters-Organized-Crime It's safe, and the game text appears after those manipulations.
