Description
Become a made man as you vie for power in a Chicago-like town during the prohibition era. Gangsters is the strategy game where crime pays--and with dividends! You can don the knuckle dusters and “persuade” the local business owners to pay you for “protection” services. You can get your hands even more dirty and navigate in the cutthroat world of politics. Or simply go for the throat as you order your wiseguys to execute your enemies in the streets and show the city who’s “da boss”. Gangsters gives you all the power you need to get things done.

Played in a vast city filled with over 5,000 individual characters, Gangsters feature real-time action in a highly detailed isometric terrain. The game sports an easy-to use strategy planning interface, to authentically recreate the seedy, violent, and ruthless world of gangland mobsters. Remember, real power is never given, it’s taken!

Game review not port review

It makes me very sad that this great game suffers because people review port and not the game. One of the best games ever made. It has little problems with not so intuitive UI, but everything else is absolute masterpiece. Turn based, RTS combo open world management game with RPG elements, crime sim. Nothing never came close to it in the genre. There are ways to make this game work on any Windows OS, although some will and patience is required.

Why?

Why is this otherwise great game even sold in this state? I should have checked the reviews instead of being happy I found it and buying it immediately. It's not optimized, and GOG essentially takes your money for a broken product. No fixes, no comments about how to fix it. Sloppy and disrespectful!

I loved this game as a kid and it simply doesn't work on any modern system. I've tried everything.

Doesn't work on windows 10

It had been a long time since I got to play this game and will still be waiting! Doesn't work on any compatibility modes with windows 10. Game itself gets 5* but if your running a modern OS don't waste your time or money with this game
