Hopelessly broken and doesn't run properly no matter what I try. Do not buy this game. GoG is doing all of us a disservice by selling something that doesn't work. I don't care that it works on some systems. It should be fixed before being released on this platform, period. If they can't get it running properly, they should not sell it. I have requested a refund.

Once you learn this game you never stop.
A steep learning curve but it will pay off in the long run. The only problem with this game is how stupid you gangster can be. They love nothing more then to get themselves kill. But that is no problem just keep hiring more and one day you can own the whole town. The trick is to hold off of kill or attacking other gangs till your set up with a few good businesses. You need the money and man power to take on a rival gang. Also searching for enemy gang’s tuff is extremely helpful in the beginning.

A diamond in the rough
Behind the obtuse controls, the dated graphics and the imbalanced gameplay this game is a real diamond. Please do yourself a favour and ignore anyone who has given this game a 1 Star review, they either didn't give the game the patience it required or just don't have the grey matter to figure it out. Play it. Love it. Look out for Omerta: City of Gangsters coming soon ;)

Better then Most RTS MAFIA's
The game has better options for an Organized crime game then most currently on the market at the moment. Unfortunately being that this game is from the late 90's its out dated and most modern day PC's will not run it smoothly. This was probably one of the first Mafia style games i ever played and really caused me to set a very high standard for most other games of this genre.

Could be good but..
Allthough playing at normal settings Gangsters and Police kill nearly all 20 of my Gangsters after 4 weeks.. I'm not able to do something against it.. Enemy shoots at me.. Police kills us all.. and so on.. An my Gangsters have shotguns and rifles.. not only pistols.. some of them even Double Berretas.. and Capos are Intelligence 4-5.. I don't get it... :(
