Frostpunk

To be honest i was hyped throughout the last month by this game. I played "This War of mine" which is a deep and stunning game made with passion. Same here. The scale is bigger, no more surviving individuals but a whole city must be ruled and need to survive in a chilling cold area on a cooling planet earth. Pros: All game aspects are wonderful. They did a great job at 11bit studios with the story and the emotional part which is the strongest at the end. The research tree is awesome. I got the first scenario with my first try with standard settings, so the difficulty is well balanced and the game very intuitive (sometimes i need a second run on those games to understand all the game mechanics, not here). Really small cons: - Not an open ending to discover all things out there (all things are open for future updates) - Sometimes you really search for a building in your city (maybe is missed the comfortable option) - Wished there was a bit more decissions how to rule the city Sum: A gem of a game and i just have to say: Shut up and take my money. Great Job, well done.

The game looks interessting and I would play it. But the font is too small. (TV, 4k 200% scale).

I got this game, and have spent so much time playing. It can be monotonous, but it is extremely entertaining. It is a multi-tasking game that requires attention in many places. The expansions add to the base game but provide different atmospheres, as well as different gameplay options. Dont want to be too long, but long story short this game is my most played game. I love it.

It is really really good. It made me want to play over and over again for hours on end. It is demanding even on easy difficulty so you'll need a lot of hours to understand what must be done and in what order. The only bad thing I can think of is that I would like the main story to be longer.

Excellent game, very addictive (got me in trouble more than once). If you don't usually play this genre, I recommend you have a look at begginner's tips online to avoid a lot of frustration at first. You need to engage your brain to play this - now I feel sad going back to brainless games like Cyberpunk...
