Freespace 2
Freespace 2 is probably one of the best sci-fi flight simulators to ever be released. Its hours of nonstop fun. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great game
I played Freespace and i loved it. I missed the 2nd part because i had no time back then. Now it is awesome to finally play it. It is so much fun. But i actually just write this because many people say it doesn't work on WINDOWS 7. But it does. I bought it prior to check the compatibility. When i read it while i was downloading i was like "crap". But it runs smooth and stable. No problems at all. Installed and played it. No changes or tweeks needed.

Still my favorite game of all time
The first game I install on every computer? Freespace 2, with the community support and freespace open installer, I don't think this game will ever get old. I liked the X-Wing series well enough, but nothing has ever felt more right to me in the space sim universe.

Suprise!
I missed out on Freespace2 years ago. I just discovered it a few days ago after downloading a mod built on its engine. I was directed here after I started wanting to experiance the origional game. For being as aged as it is, the engine and Game look and play better then anything released in recent years. With the ton of mods and missions out there for FS2, I suspect I'll be well entertained for a while. Not bad for six bucks.
