Freedom Force - Fun but shows its age
It's a hit of nostalgia that is sadly held back a bit by mechanics that haven't quite stood the test of time. But if you have fond memories of games like City of Heroes, or want a non-always online superhero game, this is definitely worth checking out!

best game I ever played. well, in top 10
not only can you increase chr stats with successful missions, but you can also import tons of skins and create any hero imaginable. I literally have HUNDREDS of skins and power profiles for a ton of heroes from dc and marvel, but also a few others . I loved creating alternate costumes for their default heroes and the missions were great. Satisfying story and battle was easy. I like it much better than the sequel, too. Oh, there's a mode where you battle increasing numbers of baddies that you can select and another where you can select a huge number of chrs and have an automated free for all and much more. many available modded adventures, too. Best game ever. Would like to see it ported into a new engine like the one skyrim uses, maybe? My most favorite game ever.
