Freedom Fighters

This game is really fun. It features exotic graphics and characters.

Although simplistic in controlling your squad mates, it works really well and has great progression.

This game was such a gem. I even remember playing back in the day wondering how it wasn't way more popular. I probably played it through at least 3 times. So glad I just happened opun it on sale. Easiest 1.49 I ever spent.

One of my all time favorites from childhood. Simple yet complex enough. I love starting on a map and running into some difficulty, like an attack chopper, and then going through the sewers to another map to blow up the chopper refueling site which then makes it much easier to progress on the previous map. That's basically the core of the game and its great. Maps arent overly huge but you are rewarded for exploration with supplies or a more covert route that gives you the jump on the enemy. I love the story although I think some of that is nostalgia, it is still entertaining in its own right. This game really deserved a sequel or at least a remaster/remake. This GOG version runs perfectly and looks great though!

Its a cool concept. and given its release, i think they managed to give you the feeling of a rebel pretty darn well. If only it would have sold more and we would have seen this concept elaborated upon.
