Welcome to Fort Solis
Responding to an unusual alarm call from a remote mining base, Jack arrives at the dark and desolate Fort Solis. With storm warnings imminent, he heads inside to make desperate contact. As the night grows longer, events escalate, spiral out of control and the mystery of what happened to the crew begins to reveal itself. The storms is approching, limiting Jack’s escape as he looks to hold out until morning arrives.
Immersive Storytelling
Fort Solis looks to deliver a high-fidelity experience designed to completely immerse the player in the cast and their long night. With performances from Roger Clark, Troy Baker and Julia Brown, Fort Solis looks to deliver emotion, fear, empathy and much more with every chapter.
Supporting the core narrative are additional instances of story such as audio logs, surveillance footage of past or present events. Accompanying those are video logs recorded by all crew detailing the events before and perhaps even after that night the alarm was triggered at Fort Solis…
Grounded by the visuals
Fort Solis brings to players, the next level of details, facial and body animations. With the help of Unreal Engine 5.2 Fort Solis realistic universe is brought to life!
An isolated mining complex
The skeleton of Fort Solis is built above and below ground. The base contains a variety of locations each with their own surface and sub surface levels. Players will be able to explore the isolated storm bearing surface, the creepy service tunnels absent of any light or the multiple departments that help Fort Solis function on a day-to-day basis such as Engineering, Medical and Communications.
As the story unfolds locations can easily be revisited for additional story context or continue to serve as a backdrop to the fate that awaits Jack with each passing hour.

I really enjoyed this game.
Beautiful graphics, great acting and narration.
One of those "weekend" games.
If you want to know the "full story", the game directly prompts you to "replay" to reveal the story of all the characters, hidden notes, secret passwords, multiple endings...
I recommend.
Four out of five stars in "just one" weekend.
I own it on PS5
Great graphics, great acting and awsome believable voice characters mixed with some usual time wasters like reading stuff lying around. But intense Story to find out what's gouing on takes you on a
Sci-Fi trip you won't forget. It's almost as if you are actually there for real.
You need a very good graphics card to play this Unreal Engine 5 Game.
Very slow walking simulator. Game wastes your time by forcing you to move at snail pace or making interactions unavailable until you click some other options first. Server room puzzle is a pinnacle of BS. Game gives you correct answer right up your face but forces you to slowly walk around the room clicking numbers until it works. Protagonist even comments to not have time for this. WTF?. It is not a puzzle, it is a torture.
Graphics can be considered good looking on first glance. There are 2 types of surroundings - Solis interiors and planet surface. First one looks generic. Confusing, similar looking rooms and corridors. Planet is purposely designed with very limited line of sight. It is night, it is storm, you don't see s#@t. It looks nice on screenshots though.
Story is boring. Cliche "something happened in the base", "you're on your own". It is presented mostly as recordings of former Solis crew. At the end you'll learn that the mystery is there is no mystery. What a twist!
Gameplay is not existent. I've read previous reviews that nothing matters and though about linear story. Well, sure story is linear but they managed to take it into next level. These very few moments when game "entertain" with this impossibly short QTEs you can simple put your controller away and watch the animation as your response will not change it.
You can find one type of item you collect to open doors, level access cards that seem to be always provided when you need them and bunch of irrelevant clickable collectibles to provide some illusion of interactivity in game's world.
Map is just terrible. You can only see it with this small screen on your wrist so you'll constantly zoom in and out to read labels and see everything else. It doesn't show your exact location. This frankly looks like missing feature, not a design choice.
One good thing about this game - it is short.
Not worth full price unless on huge sale.
The visuals are great, the story is mostly ok, but nothing ground breaking. It's good for the voice acting and atmosphere. It's quite short though, so it's mostly fun for one evening.
This game should have been right up my alley. Unfortunately, it failed in a couple of crucian aspects. First of all, the story is completely ambiguous. Maybe that is intentional, but it leaves me very unsatisfied as a consumer. I have read through the Wikipedia page for the plot of the game and I don't agree with any of its interpretations. If the Wiki has the story from the devs, then they failed miserably to tell me that story.
Secondly, the gameplay is quite bad. QTEs that are so infrequent and often nonsensical that you will most likely miss all of them. That doesn't matter, because whether you succeed or fail has no impact on the story or the end.
On the positive side, the voice acting is great and the graphics are very nice. It stutters quite frequently on my very high-powered system, which is not acceptable.
All in all, save your money, get it on a sale, it is worth getting if you can get it for less than $5.
