PS2 Era Carnage
One of the greatest racing games from the 6th gen. Cars feel heavy and fun to drive. Also you can launch you guy out the windshield and into gigantic bowling pins. What's not to love.

Flat Out 2 Rocks!
This is hands down the most realistic driving game I have ever had the pleasure to play. Even after completing the entire game, I continue to create new characters and do it all over again with the same or different cars! Hours of adrenalin pumping, teeth knashing, fist pumping fun! Drive it today!

Still rocks
What an amped up soundtrack and wild action. Lots of stuff breaks and crashes, and the computer-opponents can really surprise you. A smash up derby mode adds dimension, and there is a mode to fling your driver out the front windshield and do tricks in the air! For the racing, I was impressed with the number and variety of maps. I just found the controls to be a bit floaty like a lot of old car racing games, so maybe the game engine is showing its age compared to modern titles. Still worth a spin though.

Much better than Flatout 1
This is a good, fun and playable arcade racing game. It is challenging but not too hard. It’s fun to demolish the scenery and find shortcuts. In my opinion it’s the best racing game for Linux at the moment (in 2017). On the negative side, gamepad input is broken (on Linux with an Xinput gamepad) so I had to painfully map gamepad buttons to keyboard events with xboxdrv. You also have to launch the game settings first (either from the menu or with the right argument to start.sh) or the game will open in an ugly 1024×768 screen and move all your icons and windows, quite annoying.
