FlatOut

This is a cool little track and road racer but with limited display options. However, if one installs the mod ENB and Widescreen for FlatOut 1 and sets the view to 1 in the game's config file, it'll play with improved graphics, at 1920 x 1080, and in first person similar to bumper or hood view in other titles like Need for Speed ProStreet.

And I would like to mention even if requirements says that intel video cards isn't supported Its working very well with my integrated intel GPU, I think the statement could be because of an old but fixed Wine compatibility issue? related to intel cards I guess

This is one of those games that's relies on it's physics. Physics which seem to decide they don't work anymore right when you need them to work the most. The gameplay loop is essentailly grinding money to buy/upgrade a better car. But you get nothing if you don't make the top 3 and the "bonus" points you score for environment destruction are only like $20. You can look forward to being in first place and then suddenly, a small object in the road and get stuck on a road cone and then lose. All risk; no reward. Why bother?

old school racing, spectacular physiccs of it's time, no frills. A bunch of customisation options, surprisingly more than20+ years later, still gives modern racing titles a run for their money.

This game is for you. Flatout has pretty good car detail in terms of damage. Wherever you scrape an opponent or wall, a dent appears. As the race goes on and you bump into more people, your car will literally start falling to pieces if you abuse it too much. The race courses are a tad bland, but still good nonetheless. The mini-games are fun as well, although you may have a tough time figuring out how to play them correctly. As for the cars, they provide a very wide range, including upgrades as well.
