Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads.
Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.
Finding Paradise is the 2nd full episode of To the Moon's series. It follows the life of the doctors' new patient, Colin, as they attempt to unravel a life that is split down the middle, and fulfill a wish that appears to be self-contradictory by nature.
Like To the Moon, this is a standalone full game that does not require having played any previous games in the series.

Another masterpiece.
The story is as good as the first title, the subject makes you think at least.
Gameplay is just about living an experience written for you, and this is just what this game does.
The characters are well defined, and all works well.
Not sure if the puzzle's part has been a so good choice, but it does not make the game worse in my opinion: could be done without them and work as well, that's it.
Thanks again guys.
Ah, yes. Following the success of To The Moon a few years back, in comes yet another tale that made me wept more than the previous game. Music's top notch as always, dialogue's as witty as it can ever be.
Here's to hoping that the third game comes out a bit sooner. Other than that, Finding Paradise was an adventure worth seeing to practically anyone.
I spend around 10 hours of playing time on this game and every second was worth it, even the really boring puzzles. Sometimes there need to be some really bad parts in between to actually be able to focus on the good stuff properly. I think that was intentionally done.
I was playing To the Moon about a year ago and that story totally caught me and I was 100% there, and only there in that world. It felt so living and happy and sad and my body was flooding with different emotions. I mean, the music itself could almost summon those emotions, but the game made sense of all the music and together they ended up in these games.
I was heading for A Bird Story after that but it was extremely slow and boring and I just wanted to run it through to get a grip of the "story" but I really got nothing out of A Bird Story. It felt reallt crappy somehow. I waited half a year or something before I even tried Finding Paradise because A Bird Story kind of disappointed me.
Now with a fresh mind playing Finding Paradise I got totally hooked immediately and I got the same feelings as when I played To the Moon. Even A Bird Story became great since that game started making sense after playing this game. Now I feel some kind of story completeness inside and I'm both sad and happy and confused about my own life since I just finished the game while writing this.
I miss the characters a lot, I don't know why. I especially miss one character because she really reminds me of what I feel that I'm missing in my life.
Just play this game and play the other ones as well. I started crying in both TTM and FP so if this guy can make so many people becoming so vulnerable, then there really is something here.
Like with "To the Moon" and "A Bird Story", Freebird Games are bringing a story to life, that puts to shame any AAA game in recent years.
If you play games for their story, this, and the other Freebird games, are for you.
I think after "To the Moon" they finally figured out what kind of attitude or attitude to take to write the story (yes, I had such a low opinion of the last one that I gave it a bad review).
It also provides a sort of mea culvert and gives the first bird story a relatively decent ending. At the same time, the music and game experience have also been greatly improved, which is very happy. And hopefully I'll have the same level of experience when I play my next game.
