Fenimore Fillmore: The Westerner

Fenimore as a character is too bland. His arousal for the love interest is very off-putting. The characters say very weird things to each other, highlighting English as not the primary language of the devs, in a very jarring way. This game wants to be The Secret of Monkey Island badly; from the similar designs of the characters, to the rhyming drinking game mimicking the singing sword-fighting from MI3. But also carries-over all the awful camera and world-navigation from MI4. I don't know how much time I've put into this game. Maybe an hour and a half. But I'm struggling to find the motivation to go back in to this game to finish it. Not worth the asking price, in my opinion.

decent port decent ame some bugs but its alright

Taking into consideration that this is from 2002-03, it really has its flaws.. Bad movement, preset camera-angels, no fast-travles between the many places you have to visit. And for a point'n'click it really lacks to give the user feedback on how to progress, you can't look at things and expect any response. Just a picture of a thing. Though the story had its fun moments and great animations.. :) Though the above really destroys the joyment.

Had promise, but also a game breaking bug for me.
