A favorite action/horror game
I loved this game when I had a slower PC when it first came out. I still love it for the "creep factor" it still does REALLY WELL (even at lower resolution). Enemy AI is not "modern", but it still reacts to different tactics in a pretty cool manner.

Horror meets SiN Episodes
Definitely enjoyed this game as a shoot'em up, classic FPS. It reminds me a lot of playing SiN Episodes: Emergence and thew classic "get through each level while killing everything and do the objectives". The error spin to it was a lot of fun and made it a lot more thrilling than expected.

enjoyable to the end
This game is probably one of the first ground breaking titles that really showed off destructible environment and impressive looking particle effects, aside from all the engine perks the game is tremendous fun. Flying through office blocks kicking replica soldiers is probably one of the best feelings in all of fps games. Slow motion really did help this game shine as pulling off impressive kills and seeing all the paper and dust flying about gives a sense of realism to everything. For 2005 there was nothing quite like it, now it is sorta a horror game which might put people off but I assure you that nothing in this game is tremendously scary there might be a few jump scares here and there but their manly for shock value to keep you on your toes. Without the horror aspects the game would still be marvellous in its own right. Now the 2 dlcs are alright especially extraction point which picks up where the base game left off however peruses mandate isn't as good as EP it is still worth a play, for £7 this game and the dlcs it is a package you won't regret buying, the sequels do not live up to this games standard so do not buy those in my opinion. This game normally goes on sale so if your tight on cash you can pick it up for cheap these days so in conclusion if you like FPS and Horror genre you'll like this. ;]
