Description
With the Ultimate Edition, Bethesda Softworks offers you the chance to double-down and get the complete package of New Vegas fun. Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition includes the full suite of highly acclaimed add-on content: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road. To sweeten the pot, you’ll be armed with the latest cache of unique weapons, ammo types and recipes from the most recent add-on packs: Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer of the Mojave or playing the game for the first time, you’ll find there are more friends and enemies to make, more consequences to your actions and more opportunities to live in glory or infamy throughout the Wasteland. The choices you make will be as crucial to your survival as ever.

Welcome to Vegas. New Vegas.

It’s the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head and left for dead… and that’s before things really get ugly. It’s a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis. It’s a place where the right kind of person with the right kind of weaponry can really make a name for themselves, and make more than an enemy or two along the way. As you battle your way across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland, the colossal Hoover Dam, and the neon drenched Vegas Strip, you’ll be introduced to a colorful cast of characters, power-hungry factions, special weapons, mutated creatures, and much more. Choose sides in the upcoming war or declare “winner takes all” and crown yourself the King of New Vegas in this follow-up to the 2008 videogame of the year, Fallout 3.

Enjoy your stay.
  • Feel the Heat in New Vegas!
Not even nuclear fallout could slow the hustle of Sin City. Explore the vast expanses of the desert wastelands – from the small towns dotting the Mojave Wasteland to the bright lights of the New Vegas strip. See the Great Southwest as could only be imagined in Fallout.
  • Feuding Factions, Colorful Characters and a Host of Hostiles!
A war is brewing between rival factions with consequences that will change the lives of all the inhabitants of New Vegas. The choices you make will bring you into contact with countless characters, creatures, allies, and foes, and determine the final explosive outcome of this epic power struggle.
  • New Systems!
Enjoy new additions to Fallout: New Vegas, such as a Companion Wheel that streamlines directing your companions, a Reputation System that tracks the consequences of your actions, and the aptly titled Hardcore Mode to separate the meek from the mighty. Special melee combat moves have been added to bring new meaning to the phrase “up close and personal”. Use V.A.T.S. to pause time in combat, target specific enemy body parts and queue up attacks, or get right to the action using the finely-tuned real-time combat mechanics.
  • An Arsenal of Shiny New Guns!
With double the amount of weapons found in Fallout 3, you’ll have more than enough new and exciting ways to deal with the threats of the wasteland and the locals. In addition, Vault-Tec engineers have devised a new weapons configuration system that lets you tinker with your toys and see the modifications you make in real time.
  • Let it Ride!
In a huge, open world with unlimited options you can see the sights, choose sides, or go it alone. Peacemaker or Hard Case, House Rules, or the Wild Card - it’s all in how you play the game.

I just don't see it

I tried this game several times and gave it around 15 hours before i gave up. I really can't see why it is so hyped. Maybe it just didn't stand the test of time and i should have played it 11 years ago. I am sure i would have enjoyed it a bit more. But as it is i find Fallout 4 to be a better game on practically all accounts and i was just bored with this one. The graphics are horrible to look at. Everything is either grey or brown. You can't even distinguish loot from the ground it lies on... it is all just a brown/grey mess. The pace of the game is incredibly slow. You basically can't run, so it is walking to every new location (they call it running, but it really isn't). Crafting and levelling up is also very slow progressing and tedious (after 15 hours i didn't craft a single thing as my level was either too low or i didn't have the materials). You can't store items as easily or convenient either and picking stuff up makes you overburdened in minutes. Then there is the story. Admittedly i didn't get far into the main story, but the characters are very bland and one dimensional and the quests pretty straight forward, nothing special about what i experienced.

An underdeveloped mess of a Fallout game

I'll keep it short. Pros: - it's kind-of a Fallout game, sure - DLCs are fun, at least some of them - overall cowboy feel, music, vibes - it can be likeable - bazillion weapon mods, ammo types - one can play with the system for a while, though there's not really that much combat to test out different setups so you'll end up traversing same locations over and over to just have some seconds of combat - exploration part of the game is fun sometimes - some of DLCs story is just cool Cons: - stupid game design - forcing players to take a detour to New Vegas if one does not cheeses a way by using stealthboys & stimpacks - deathclaws are sprinting tanks - there is no challenge in fighting deathclaws, as either you have a full arsenal to take those enemies in 3 seconds each or it's game over - companions are overpowered, cannot die - as I'm not 15 years old anymore for some time now, I do not have the time to play hardcore or however it's called. Basically companions do the fighting for you, unless you fight with deathclaws, then they are knocked unconscious in 3 seconds and you have like 3 seconds to either destroy deathclaws or it's game over - the game is very easy - there's no good scaling mechanism for the game. Either you fly through the game like a breeze, shooting shit-stained savages within 2 seconds of encountering them or need to carefully battle enemies with bazillions of HP - like deathclaws of ghouls in the nuclear test site - stupid skill check system - if you have 74 speech and the skill check requires 75 you will fail 100% of the times unless you use mentats - I mean, why is it so binary? 100% success or 0% most of the times. - speech-no-jutsu is overpowered - this skill is to be maximized to ~90 asap to even be able to enjoy the game, otherwise expect lots of fighting and dull content - more All in all - I only enjoyed this game after modding it heavily, otherwise it's very, very empty and feels like a board game with lots of wait time in between events

Still buggy at 2018

After so many years game is still unplayable. Just google for amount of bugs at this game. F3, F3NV. You might get any of them and will spend hours to fix it without 100% chance to fix.
