Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition

What other game lets you argue with a psychopathic toaster??? Im getting ahead of myself, I just want to experience Fallout 2 in first person perspective glory and FNV out of the three 3D perspective games comes the closest. Is it a post apocalyptic western or a scifi RPG, its both and more and its down to Obsidian for making something for all of us that love the fallout series. The vanilla game is there for you to get your feet wet (or sandy as the case may be) I believe there is a main story line in there somewhere but I am always getting distracted by other things to do in game, and that is the best part, do you find the Mohave bland, bare or perhaps a little quiet? Add some mods, it isn’t hard (I havnt got the gog version yet so Im not sure how well modding works with it yet, Im trying not to buy the same game on different platforms but failing :/ ) add some of the required mods like CASM then for me all I need is AWOP and New Vegas Bounties then add some graphical mods to make it look damn pretty cant say more other than you just created a whole new game to play for yourself ‘for freeeeeeeeee’ pat yourself on the back

It's good, really good.

This is a great game. But the DLC Dead Money is honestly not fun. It's a boring and tedious slog; incredibly annoying. By the end, I regretted starting it. Everything else about this game is 10/10. But stay away from Dead Money; the few gold bars you'll get aren't worth it.

Even though the graphic things are awful, hard to image how Obsidian made it even worse with the same engine used by fallout3, and it's buggy, easily to break your saving profiles. Nevertheless, the storytelling is all the way back to fallout2 level, and it's better because your get to see the real fallout world visually, and there are four endings, each of them is think-provoking, need to say that the legion one is half-finished, a lost of the game. Still, it's the best fallout I recommend anyone interested in the whole series to start with, never choose the fallout4, it's awful in its story, totally declines the reputation of fallout. As for the graphic things and bugs, you can find many mod to make up for it, see nexus mod for instance, but don't add mods that alters the original game story, it's your loss to miss it.

Like all Fallout games, it has it's faults but storywise, etc, FNV is the best. I played this one first and it was so good, I bought the others. After all these years, it's still in my 'play' rotation.
