Description
With the Ultimate Edition, Bethesda Softworks offers you the chance to double-down and get the complete package of New Vegas fun. Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition includes the full suite of highly acclaimed add-on content: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road. To sweeten the pot, you’ll be armed with the latest cache of unique weapons, ammo types and recipes from the most recent add-on packs: Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer of the Mojave or playing the game for the first time, you’ll find there are more friends and enemies to make, more consequences to your actions and more opportunities to live in glory or infamy throughout the Wasteland. The choices you make will be as crucial to your survival as ever.

Welcome to Vegas. New Vegas.

It’s the kind of town where you dig your own grave prior to being shot in the head and left for dead… and that’s before things really get ugly. It’s a town of dreamers and desperados being torn apart by warring factions vying for complete control of this desert oasis. It’s a place where the right kind of person with the right kind of weaponry can really make a name for themselves, and make more than an enemy or two along the way. As you battle your way across the heat-blasted Mojave Wasteland, the colossal Hoover Dam, and the neon drenched Vegas Strip, you’ll be introduced to a colorful cast of characters, power-hungry factions, special weapons, mutated creatures, and much more. Choose sides in the upcoming war or declare “winner takes all” and crown yourself the King of New Vegas in this follow-up to the 2008 videogame of the year, Fallout 3.

Enjoy your stay.
  • Feel the Heat in New Vegas!
Not even nuclear fallout could slow the hustle of Sin City. Explore the vast expanses of the desert wastelands – from the small towns dotting the Mojave Wasteland to the bright lights of the New Vegas strip. See the Great Southwest as could only be imagined in Fallout.
  • Feuding Factions, Colorful Characters and a Host of Hostiles!
A war is brewing between rival factions with consequences that will change the lives of all the inhabitants of New Vegas. The choices you make will bring you into contact with countless characters, creatures, allies, and foes, and determine the final explosive outcome of this epic power struggle.
  • New Systems!
Enjoy new additions to Fallout: New Vegas, such as a Companion Wheel that streamlines directing your companions, a Reputation System that tracks the consequences of your actions, and the aptly titled Hardcore Mode to separate the meek from the mighty. Special melee combat moves have been added to bring new meaning to the phrase “up close and personal”. Use V.A.T.S. to pause time in combat, target specific enemy body parts and queue up attacks, or get right to the action using the finely-tuned real-time combat mechanics.
  • An Arsenal of Shiny New Guns!
With double the amount of weapons found in Fallout 3, you’ll have more than enough new and exciting ways to deal with the threats of the wasteland and the locals. In addition, Vault-Tec engineers have devised a new weapons configuration system that lets you tinker with your toys and see the modifications you make in real time.
  • Let it Ride!
In a huge, open world with unlimited options you can see the sights, choose sides, or go it alone. Peacemaker or Hard Case, House Rules, or the Wild Card - it’s all in how you play the game.

Best fallout game

This is easily the best 3D fallout game it has refined all the elements from fallout 3 and added a lot more RPG mechanics to the game for example using skills in dialogue and multiple options in nearly all the side/main quests. The story in this game is very good since you can choose what faction you want to join and none of them are black and white like the factions in fallout 4. All factions have their strengths and weaknesses and depending on the character you can create you can pick either side which best suits your characters goals and ethics/morality. The only real downside to this game is the stabilty but mods can help increase the performance.

Great old game

This game (before Fallout 4) was one of the best. I loved to (and am getting back into) playing this a lot. You can pick from one of 4 endings (with more then a ton of extra for side quests). You can place bets and lose a lot of money (or win it). You have upto 8 companions (2 non human all the time and 6 Humans one at a time). Plus this is one of the few games that you DON'T start from a valt (so you DO know a little of what is going around). Plus with the EXP packs that add 4 new zones (with new temp companions) and 2 that loads of stuff you will have some time and fun looking around the huge open world. As a side note If you played this on Steam (like I did) you can keep that game going thanks to the Cloud saves

Big Johnny Guitar on his hip...

My favorite fallout game, no doubt about it, one of the few games where I am hunting for achievements. This game has a decent character customisation. You can adjust your apperaince (although there is room for improvement). The leveling system is nice. You get to distribute points between SPECIAL attributes in the beginning. Then every level you get points to invest in skills. And every few levels you get to choose a perk. The atmosphere is outstanding. It blends SCIFI, POST-APOCALYPSE and WESTERN. I really love the desert asthectics and the Las Vegas vibe. The world is fairly large and there are a lot of things to discover beside the main quest (although some dungeons might seem repetative to some folks). There are several different factions in the Mojave, each one with unique and interesting motivations and values and it's up to the player to choose which ones to side with. The game has several different endings which depend on the choices you make in the course of the game. There is a karma and faction reputation systems in place. You can be good, evil, a bit of both. Each faction will react to your actions. Unlike Fallout 3, this game offers an insane number of different weapons. There are plenty of side quests that reward you with xp and you do not have to grind to level up for the most part. the game might seem a bit linear in the beginning but it really opens up once you reach Vegas. There are several different sidekicks to choose from, each one with unique traits and bonuses. The game is not too hard although there are some challenging enemies that require you to level up and get better weapons. The character progression is great in my opinion. Not to mention that this game has great mod support. However, this game has its issues too. There are quite a few bugs, stability issues and such. But a lot of these can be fixed with a few mods without altering the gameplay. BEST GAME EVER. DISCLAIMER: Sorry for English errors.

I Give Up

I've owned the GOG version of FONV for some time. At about 40 hours in, I encountered the dreaded endless load screen bug. Nothing fixes it, including the "start a new game and load your old one from within it" trick. A real shame. I was really enjoying it and want to be able to continue, but it's not to be. PLEASE FIX this and other game-breaking issues!
