Many of the reported issues appear to stem from missing one of the installation steps outlined below. While we work on improving the installation experience, please ensure you follow all the steps carefully.

Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.
There has never been a better time to sample the capital’s delights! Fallout: London lets you explore the wonders of the city 160 years after the bombs have dropped, and 40 years before the events of Fallout 3. You can now reimagine Fallout in a London-centric universe, interacting with a brave new world of London-based locations, stories, factions, creatures, weapons, and gameplay mechanics.
The Gentry-dominated London stands on a knife-edge, and you may be the key to which way the guillotine falls. Play a new story set in London with a fresh character beginning, numerous conflicting factions to engage with and multiple story paths and endings with up to 90 hours of gameplay. Just be aware of what terrible secrets you may uncover in the shadowy gaps amidst the halls of power.
Discover new weapons, creatures, clothing, items, collectables, architecture, foliage and NPCs to complete the London setting. Interact through the world with your custom Atta-boy, with a fresh interface based on the UK’s life-saving Protect and Survive nuclear information campaign.

My 72h gameplay expirence
Main story, side quests, locations, weapons are much more enjoyable than vanila game. Bethesda can learn a lot. Had some issues with game crashes, bugged quests. As for work arround for game crashes between locations waite/sleep ussaly helped. Lates patches fixed a lot and make game more stable.

A good attempt but it is not finished
I have had nothing but issues since launch, no idea how people are able to play this game let alone stream it. Multiple characters had to be made so i was restarting over and over which took a lot of fun out of the experience as i was wasting so much time on saves that became unplayable. I was so hyped for this and i did enjoy what I was able to play but the game is currently unplayable due to corruptions. If you are an experienced bethesda game modder you may be able to get around the numerous crashing issues and have a playable experience but if you are just an average gamer you have no chance. I have been in the Team FOLON discord desperately trying their solutions and fixes but it just keeps getting worse. I deleted EVERYTHING today and started with a clean install and followed the instructions in their discord and now its even worse. This game really has so much potential but it is all wasted if it cannot be experienced by the player.

Unplayable
While it's a cool and respectable modding project, if it's impossible for me to play it's also impossible for me to give a positive rating for it. The crashing is so frequent as to make the game unplayable. Much like an early release Bethesda game.

Good for Free
It's a free mod by amatures so, it's not bad for what it is. I am not gonna pretend it's incredible because modders made it. Some of the gun animations are terrible, and I am not sure how good their understanding of classic fallout is, but it's fine.

Worth the effort to fix crashes
If the game crashes upon starting a new game and you have a high refresh rate monitor, install the High Refresh Rate Fix mod. If the game crashes after the intro train, install Buffout 4, including its prerequisities, but not F4SE since Fallout London already comes with that. These really should have been included considering the high rate of reported crashes in these two areas, but its worth the effort to fix it yourself to experience such an incredible total conversion. I'm not very far into it but already I can tell that the effort and artistic vision put into this mod far outclasses anything Bethesda can do.
