Many of the reported issues appear to stem from missing one of the installation steps outlined below. While we work on improving the installation experience, please ensure you follow all the steps carefully.

Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.
There has never been a better time to sample the capital’s delights! Fallout: London lets you explore the wonders of the city 160 years after the bombs have dropped, and 40 years before the events of Fallout 3. You can now reimagine Fallout in a London-centric universe, interacting with a brave new world of London-based locations, stories, factions, creatures, weapons, and gameplay mechanics.
The Gentry-dominated London stands on a knife-edge, and you may be the key to which way the guillotine falls. Play a new story set in London with a fresh character beginning, numerous conflicting factions to engage with and multiple story paths and endings with up to 90 hours of gameplay. Just be aware of what terrible secrets you may uncover in the shadowy gaps amidst the halls of power.
Discover new weapons, creatures, clothing, items, collectables, architecture, foliage and NPCs to complete the London setting. Interact through the world with your custom Atta-boy, with a fresh interface based on the UK’s life-saving Protect and Survive nuclear information campaign.

Incredible!
After taking care of some issues that are FO4 rooted, not caused by FOLON (high res face fix, high fps physics fix, the recommended mods) everything is running sooo smooth The scope is incredible. The quality even more so.

One of the biggest milestone in modding
The FOLON team really came through with their vision. The environment is amazing, the full England lore they made is great, and the city really feels full and cluttered, like a post-apocalyptic big city should. Not like Boston, made by Bethesda, with 5 skyscrapers and some rubble on the street. The only gripe I had with London so far is, 1. The loading time when you exit a building, not a big problem but something to keep in mind. 2. Unclear instructions, throughout the while process. It's not beginner friendly AT ALL. If you're new to modding, start with something else, because you have to do this on your own. And most importantly, DON'T listen to the people saying it's constantly crashing, CTDs, completely breaks, and all that. Refer to my last sentence. They CAN'T mod, and they blame the mod for it. It's half fair, because the installer tells you, "follow the instructions on the site" and the site tells you "follow the instructions in the installer". I had 2 crashes and I've been playing since Friday, day one, but this is a Bethesda game, if I start vanilla FO4 I think I'll experience more crashes than with this mod. It's a clear 9.5 out of 10, the biggest achievement in modding to date. Try it, you have nothing to lose.

Incredible total conversion mod
I haven't had this much fun with Fallout since New Vegas. Great writing, great characters, interesting quests and excellent map and asset design and especially fantastic music composition. Just a complete joy to play. Are there technical issues? Yes. But this is a passion project built on a Bethesda game engine.

Impressive in scope
If you've grown up/ lived in London you'll probably really enjoy this mod. I think this team has done something unique in terms of lore in comparison to Bethesda. Somehow in all fallout games no matter the location of the US, they have the same monsters and factions; same old super mutants, brotherhood of steel and the enclave, it gets a bit stale. Why would every location have the exact same enemies in the USA? Come up with something new Bethesda. This mod feels like a breath of fresh air from that, while still keeping the fallout charm. I've only had a few crashes, but some other people have reported that it's unplayable for them which is unfortunate, I hope that gets fixed so they can play. The only gripe I have is quite long load times but I mean this is a passion project which required a significant amount of work without getting paid, so I don't think I can really complain about this minor issue.

it over writes fallout 4
its not a stand alone game, it in part over writes fallout 4 and when I uninstalled and reinstalled my fallout 4 my saves were corrupted. i tried to make a separate folder for a copy of fallout 4 for London only but some how it still corrupted both folders. I don't blame the devs, Bethesda fucked up fallout 4 and they had to make it this way I'm sure. but I'm too angry to play it now.
