Many of the reported issues appear to stem from missing one of the installation steps outlined below. While we work on improving the installation experience, please ensure you follow all the steps carefully.

Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.
There has never been a better time to sample the capital’s delights! Fallout: London lets you explore the wonders of the city 160 years after the bombs have dropped, and 40 years before the events of Fallout 3. You can now reimagine Fallout in a London-centric universe, interacting with a brave new world of London-based locations, stories, factions, creatures, weapons, and gameplay mechanics.
The Gentry-dominated London stands on a knife-edge, and you may be the key to which way the guillotine falls. Play a new story set in London with a fresh character beginning, numerous conflicting factions to engage with and multiple story paths and endings with up to 90 hours of gameplay. Just be aware of what terrible secrets you may uncover in the shadowy gaps amidst the halls of power.

So good.
Did it launch with bugs? Yes. Does it have a couple issues? Yes. But it is a free total conversion for FO4 and it does a great job at delivering a completely fresh experience. Many $70 games release with game breaking bugs and poor optimisation and somehow this massive in scale passion project is able to run relatively smoothly. The work put into just the new world that was created is absolutely stellar. The environments in this game are better than anything Bethesda has ever put in one of their games. The voice acting is solid. The weapons are awesome. This doesnt feel like a Fallout 4.5, other than being in the same engine, it infact does not feel like or look like fallout 4 at all. This mod eclipses vanilla FO4, it is insane how an unpaid fan project is somehow better in quality and detail than a AAA release with millions of dollars behind it. If you have not played London yet and own Fallout 4, you are doing yourself a great disservice. Correct your mistake and install Fallout London today!

Heartbreaking
Looks incredible and when I can manage to play it's engrossing. However it crashes every 2-3 minutes. I bought a new copy of FO4 via GOG specifically because it said the installation would be easier, as I am not a "modder" and don't have existing know-how or accounts on any of the modding forums or websites. It's being advertised on the homepage of a pretty mainstream games website as easy to install and play. Unfortunately, it's not. I would never have tried were it just on NexusMods or some modding server.

Crashes ruin it
I've been so excited for this game for so long but it has been nothing but a headache. The GOG version of fallout 4 is supposed to work with FALON out of the box and yet I've had every issue possible it seems. Constant crashes, F4SE not working, character creation not working, quests soft locking after I finally manage to get it to run, 15 minute loading screens. the worst part is this game looks AMAZING but I can't play it so I'm unistalling it and F4GOTY and I guess I'll try again in a month or two to see if they fix it. I look forward to being able to play this so I hope they fix it soon.

constant crashes ruin it.
Tried it multiple times with a reinstall, tried it with the recommended mods and without, still the same result. Ctd with no warning. If you are going to play it, save it manually every 5 mins or you will just get so frustraed at having to do stuff over and over. I'm gonna wait a while till its 'fixed'
