Kinda awful dudes....
a lot of hype for something that doesn't work more than half an hour before crashing. if you were going to make it why not make it actually work?

We are very grateful for the amazing attention Fallout London is receiving and want to thank you all for the great feedback! We're working hard to fix the reported technical issues and expect to release an update soon. Thank you for your patience and support!
Many of the reported issues appear to stem from missing one of the installation steps outlined below. While we work on improving the installation experience, please ensure you follow all the steps carefully.
- Team FOLON®
Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.
There has never been a better time to sample the capital’s delights! Fallout: London lets you explore the wonders of the city 160 years after the bombs have dropped, and 40 years before the events of Fallout 3. You can now reimagine Fallout in a London-centric universe, interacting with a brave new world of London-based locations, stories, factions, creatures, weapons, and gameplay mechanics.
The Gentry-dominated London stands on a knife-edge, and you may be the key to which way the guillotine falls. Play a new story set in London with a fresh character beginning, numerous conflicting factions to engage with and multiple story paths and endings with up to 90 hours of gameplay. Just be aware of what terrible secrets you may uncover in the shadowy gaps amidst the halls of power.
Discover new weapons, creatures, clothing, items, collectables, architecture, foliage and NPCs to complete the London setting. Interact through the world with your custom Atta-boy, with a fresh interface based on the UK’s life-saving Protect and Survive nuclear information campaign.

My biggest letdown in gaming
I was so excited for this game. It's a personal gaming dream come true. The original trailer for this was what inspired me to buy a gaming PC, back in 2019. I so want to love it. The trouble is this games does NOT want you to enjoy it. No matter how much time and energy you put into it, all it wants to do is punish you. Basic navigation is a pain. The world is a poorly designed mess, filled with dead-ends and invisible barriers. If you're lucky, you may see an error here and there, clearly a sign the developers realised what a mess they'd made. Crossing London Bridge, you encounter a locked door and a character called Beefy. The game prompts you to talk to Beefy. He has a seemingly never ending speech (and the voice acting here is not good) that you CANNOT interrupt. You can kill him, because this is Fallout, and that's always a fun option. Except this is Fallout London, and fun was not part of the design brief, so killing him does not allow you to progress. There is a huge hole, clearly large enough for you to pass through, but NO, because invisible wall. It's a small thing, but it's so typical of the gameplay experience. I love the Fallout games. I must've put over 1000 hours into Fallout 3. But this, it's just not fun. It's so badly designed. There's a type of enemy I encountered fairly early into the game called Naval Walkers. They are fast, heavily armoured, and explode in a way that kills you instantly. Who could possibly think that was a fun gameplay feature? It's enough of a pain to put up wit the slowest loading times this side of a ZX Spectrum without encountering multiple enemies who rush you en masse and kill you before you barely have a chance to respond. And the loading often does not end. The game, almost a whole year after its (delayed) launch, is stil a mess. Want to have some fun? Look elsewhere. Fun is apparently not allowed in London.

An overhyped mess
I really really wish i had more positive things to say about this mod but unfortunately i cannot. Sure, the mod is extremely ambitious and the people responsible for it have done a lot of work trying to create it but these are the only real positive things i can say about it. First things first, the mod is a mess in terms of functionality. Sure, the crashes have been reduced to a tolerable level but the major issue i've encountered are the horrendous loading times which are absolutely unacceptable and certainly not present in Fallout 4. I tried every solution i found online but could find no real fix. As it is right now the mod is borderline unplayable. Besides these issues, the mod isn't even that good. We have a generic and mediocre main story that fails to give you a sense of urgency, some cardboard and extremely forgettable characters, uninteresting companions, a dull and in my opinion poorly designed game world and in the end a very uninteresting and boring game that feels almost nothing like a Fallout game and is most certainly very very inferior from Fallout 4. Now, i know that most people will disagree with my review (some even vehemently) but i felt i had to write it as this mod gets ridiculously rave reviews which seem to gloss over its major problems

Goodbutbuggyasf#ck
I have to say this is one of the most well made Fallout mods I have ever seen, however, I can't really get over the fact theres game breaking glitches that have still yet to be patched officially by the team to my knowledge, there are times where I have to frustratingly go through console commands and forums just to get a quest completed or for it to progress, even before I installed mods which shouldn't have conflicted that much with the game, yet somehow it still happened. I would of given this a higher score before, though due to the bugs Im giving it a lower score. Either install mods that fix the bugs or wait until its in a workable state that teh community deems acceptable
