Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.
Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.

The quality of the writing, the locations, and the overall feel of this "mod" is fantastic. The amount of humor has blown me away. For me personnally, I believe this deserved a $60 price tag more than the original FO4. However, at its current state, the game crashes. A lot. The amount of crashing and spending two hours working on a settlement for it to crash as soon as you're about to step away is the only reason its missing a star for me. (My fault I didn't save smh) Honestly, brings me back to the NV days with how much I enjoy it.
If you like Fallout, this is a MUST!
Loving every second of it. In some aspects it surpasses what Bethesda does with its Fallout games. The attention to detail in the environmental design is staggering, the OST is brilliant and enhances the slightly horrific mood of the game. I never expected I wanted a game where I could shank a gang of Jack Tars in the streets of London, but here we are.
It has some negatives, sure: the difficulty can be a bit all over the place, exploring a bit outside of the questlines shows some of the game's cracks, and while most of the voice acting is pretty great, some of it is also not on the level of the rest. The game does crash from time to time as well, but I have to say it's been my experience with Fallout 4 itself so I'm not sure I can fault the modding team there.
Still, considering this is a free mod from what was until now a team of "amateurs", it's hard for me not to give it a full mark despite some of its shortcomings, because the entire experience and the context of its making more than makes up for it.
If you like Fallout, don't sleep on this!
I wasn't sure if the Fallout formula would work outside of the US, but it does. The FOLON Team has done amazing work here. I'm so happy that this mod is getting mainstream success. Sure, there are bugs - but it is based on a Bethesda game, what do you expect? Buffout and few other mods make it a lot smoother.
A true passion project, having just finished playing through the main story and most of the side content just absolutely wow. The FOLON team have clearly put their hearts, blood, sweat and tears into this and it absolutely shows.
Appreciate there have been lots of technical issues for some folks, following some of the suggested mods/installation process from the discord I have had little to no technical errors, especially after the first hotfix.
The story is fantastic and I will definitely be playing through again to experience the various factions and how they bring the conclusion to the main story. The atmosphere, the ambience, the music everything is fantastic and being able to see instantly recognisable landmarks/items from the UK is a game changer compared to the US entries (as someone from the UK).
I cannot recommend this mod enough, as anyone who is a fan of Fallout games/anything in this genre at all. Go play it and enjoy the backdrop of Ol' Blighty.
