It just works
Orginally bought this though Steam but had nothing but problems with it freezing and crashing every 15min. Decided to try the GOG version and three hours in, I haven't had one freeze or crash! It's so nice to finally be able to play this again after so many years! If you love open world RPGS this is truly a great game.

Amazing!!
On PS3, I have over 130 hours into the game and played through every DLC in the Game Of The Year Edition. Fallout 3 just might be the greatest game I have ever played, and the most hours I've ever put into an offline video game. This game is basically perfect, if not very close. Huge fan of this game, and now matter how old this game gets, it is still fun, engaging, and impressive!!! it's a lot of investment of hours of your life, but if you're looking for an amazing game experience that is unique, this is what you are looking for.

Neat Fallout game, despite the change.
I liked it even with how drastically different it is from the classic Fallout games. It plays much more like a sort of RPG shooter, but there is still plenty to go explore and do in the world that I would recommend giving this a try if you are a fan of the Post-Apocalypse genre of fiction.

Stepping out of the vault
Probably one of my favourite games of all time. Stepping out of the vault into the harsh sun drenched wasteland is a moment in my gaming history that I will never quite forget. The thrill of seeing this open world stretching off to the horizon, knowing that adventure awaited me, left me almost awe struck. The game itself is a totally open game where you can chose your own path in a Post Apocalyptic hell hole. Will you be a heroic saviour of mankind, or a vicious survivor who does what is needed to survive? It is completely up to you. On your way you will meet a mix of people, some evil, some less so, and others .. well let's just say the wasteland produces a lot of strange characters.

Fallout 3 Greatness
Absolutely love this game, Got it here, rather than STEAM, as GOG have it working without constant crashes. The full game, with DLCs, is still worth the best part of £20 even now. Buy it on sale and you'll feel guilty for not having paid more. Some like New Vegas more. You can buy that on GOG as well, I did. I always liked the underground more than the dusky outback. Anyhow, buy them both and you'll have 100's of hours of gameplay. WIn 10 / 1080ti / i7 7700 / 16gb ram
