For all its superficial swagger, it'd be remiss to call Evil West a case of style over substance, because there's a deceptive amount of substance to its combat system and the vibrant world its set in–just the amount you'd want in such a game. It's a good game for a good while, before its relentless pace runs of steam in the final third when repetitive, tiresome battles highlight the limitations of a mostly solid combat system. With the ability to play the entirety of the campaign in co-op however (with appropriately scaled enemies), I wonder whether spreading the relentless heat between two players could actually be the best way to play Evil West, and I plan on finding out soon.

Modern Oldschool Fun

just a fun beat´m up, if you like games like bayonetta or dmc you will like this game too, a bit clunky in some areas. But overall very nice game.

Nice theme, and idea. Not my cup of tea

I only played it briefly at this point. I am not a fan of games that are extremely linear and holding my hands. The glowing GO HERE type indicators everywhere are not really a style I like. It also has a console feel to it which while it works is not what I'd like with something like this. I will probably revisit it at a later date but my initial run is that it isn't quite my thing.

EULA WARNING!!!!!

So after wasting my time buying this game, and wasting my bandwidth to download it, I'm SMACKED IN THE FACE!!! with a EULA from Focus Entertainment themselves right at launching the game (didn't see that coming.) So I'll be "REFUNDING" the game and blacklisting Focus Entertainment. SO LONG SUCKERS!!!! YOU LOOSE I WIN hehehehe. :-)
