3/5 Constitutes a Yes recommendation... Barely..
A throwback style game with linear gameplay, predictable arenas, poor voice acting... but fun AF fights, upgrades, and coop experience.

That's when they had me. This game is a great example of how nice a game can look and play when you skip the effort of making a vast open world with tedious and boring side quests and focus on gameplay instead. Yes, the levels are linear, yes there's usually only one way to solve the puzzles, yes, you will run into fairly obvious arenas with waves of enemies. If any of those qualify as bad on your list this is probably not for you. If you love the idea of a steampunk cowboy blasting his way through beautifully gritty and detailed levels and hordes of enemies with various gadgets and the godfather of all brass-knuckles: go for it! Runs quite well with medium to high settings on the ROG Ally Z1 Extreme.
Got this for free via amazon, would buy in a heartbeat.
-Wild West
-Blade a$$ vampire story
-Blood, lots of it
- God of war combat + guns
-Grapple / grab / slam
runs great, beatiflly designed and optimized.
A rail beat em up, you can't fall down, invisible walls everywhere, an EULA that you can't click accept (hint, you have to HOLD the button for a while before it registers), nice graphics, not much in the way of gameplay.. Feels like a console game, in the bad way.
What we have here is basically inferior version of "God of War" were fighting is taken against vampires instead of gods.
Combat being most crucial aspect in these kinds of games: it feels fluent, there are couple of options for fighting and skills. You will get couple upgrade possibilities for arsenal, but not that many.
Game is challenging on normal difficulty, but aftter you grasp the mechanics the only challenge remaining is how awful HP sponges enemies are and how long each fight begins to last. Seriously, i was getting bored during last half of the game because of how long fights took.
Voice acting is kind of funny, in a good way. VA fits the characters but there is certain clumsiness noticable out there. You will most likely enjoy the cutscenes.
Story? "Lets kill vampires since they want to destroy humankind" basically. You are welcome.
Sure, they tried adding some background emphasis on characters and bring deeper meaning on matters, but that didnt really work.
In the end, i paid 7,50€ for this game and feel like it was just the right amount. I fail to understand the praises for this game by others, but maybe i just am not the correct audience.
