First of all, I am not good at shooter and not very experienced, though I have a lot of fun. I spend as much time at searching for treasures as I spend dogfighting.
You have to adapt your tactics to your enemies and be patient and the scaling is sometimes a problem. I would like to see different difficulty levels in the finished game. But I never had the feeling of unfairness. It IS challenging sometimes. I have played until the end of the current available campaign. (and didn't die too often)
For me it has the right flow, just another unknown destination here, and another job there....
The atmosphere and graphics are great and the story Ok.
I have encountered nearly no bugs; I've seen many games released with far more bugs.
If you look for a game with a sense of exploration and a Freelancer feeling, I would recommend it.

The story is decent. The flight mechanics are decent. The customization is decent. I have no complaints about this game save one. For all the flaws it lacks, it also lacks memorable and engaging gameplay.
Probably the best flight game I played. Till the end it can get repetetive, but becasue it is easy to pick up there is no problm in taking longer break and return. Story is decent. Graphic are beutiful. It is extremely easy to control. Worth it, even full price.
It's worth the asking price, for sure. Even more for a discount.
Great fun at various difficulties. Lots of optional modern quality of life improvements - which allows you to experience the game the way you want.
