Lost so much time on this game... very fun. Played the sequel first, then came to this. It is an FTL style runner. Lots of fun.

Yoou've hardly started the game when you already meet such a host of enemies that it is impossible to survive. What's the point?

For the discerning starfighter, I can't really praise the game anymore than for what it is, it's near-perfect. You take control of a small fighter craft (and there's more to un lock) and zip around the galaxy via jump nodes, looking for resources and engaging in combat with enemies and rivals as you try to outrun an alien race hellbent on your destruction. The mood is subdued, but the action can get frantic and intense; highly recommended for anyone seeking a balance of exploration and aerial dogfighting.

I'm having fun as someone who isn't nessisarily great at apace combat. Definately a tip of the hat to games like FTL. Fun to play from a 1rst person perspective. Game looks great and runs nicely. Not super deep perhaps but well-exicuted and fun. Super high value (less than $3 usd on sale)

A fun space game with procedurally generated levels, upgradable starting ships/abilities, increasing complexity the deeper you go, and a sense of urgency created by squadrons hot on your trail. Overall worth the money.
