Eschalon: Book I

For it's age this game is solid. Feels, look, sounds and plays really well, in fact better than most of it's type today in 2018 . Your first hour in the game are very enjoyable, but then the big problem with the game starts to materialise. You can't do anything, the progression is far, far to slow. You can spend the first few hours running around in your underwear with just one spell to your arsenal. It's painful to watch that experience bar slowly, oh so slowly start to fill. I would imagine at the rate of progression I have experienced, you would only get to level up anything when you were half way though the game. Unfortunately because of this one major flaw the game becomes ultra boring very quickly. Shame, the developer done a amazing job on everything else in the game.

Quick Travel still got bugs to freeze the game,long time walking always required
