A classic isometric RPG set in a dystopian enviroment allowing you to fight enemies, explore the hostile wasteland, level up your character and join one of the forces in the ruined world that survived through the horrific Incident, isolated from the rest of the world.
Start the game in one of the five divisions of the CRONUS Corporation — Wings, each with its own features, mechanics, and game options.
Go on a one way trip under the Dome from which you cannot return. Avoid radiation and anomalies, fight mutated animals and search for unique artifacts.
Start the game as an ordinary company employee and become the driving force behind the story that takes place before, during, and after the disaster that became known as the Incident.
After getting familiar with the world, dive into an open world full of freedom and danger. The old order is gone, now five powerful factions rule over the wasteland. Join one of them or be a lone wolf. Change the future of the Dome and its inhabitants or go your own way.
Threaten your enemies out of battle: persuade important people to give you favors. Don't have charisma for that? Then bribe them! Encased story is deep, each quest can be completed differently, depending on your stats and choices and those choices will really matter in the end, thanks to multiple game endings. Kill everyone, be a pacifist or choose anything in-between, the game will adapt to your playstyle.
Level up your own unique character: will you specialise in stealth, melee combat, sniper rifles, psionics or diplomacy? Will you be a lone wolf or a party leader? Or maybe even try to play through the game as low intellect hero? It's all up to you.
Go on a journey and learn dozens of useful abilities like hacking, mechanics, thieving or even driving. Study relics to reveal technological secrets of the Dome and then explore the lands, finding new places, anomalies and rivals. Not all of them will be humans, by the way.
Make difficult decisions: steal, assasinate or help despite any concequences. Build your reputations with one faction or try to please them all, but remember that sometimes compromises are impossible.
Repair and craft: forge robotic armor — Servoshell, build unique guns and upgrade them. Maybe even cook something. After all, you can't survive on an empty stomach.

Why buy on GOG.COM?
DRM FREE. No activation or online connection required to play.
if you want to play this, on linux mint or ubuntu, you will need to download the windows version and use wine...
so far the linux version will not work at all, also the vulcan version does not work at all as well...
i played a version (was still in development at the time) of this before buying it when i was still using windows 7, it worked good then....
it is an ok rpg despite the pushing of the 'trans' bullshit, and yes it is bullshit...
the story was ok at the time, but limited, the gameplay was mostly good but was limited and in many ways clunky.
i hope they fixed the bugs and limitation and added proper more deep story to the game...
(also if they are going to push fake nonsense and least go full bore and make it a full adult game)
I can't believe I was somehow tricked to buy this on heavy sale. This has to be one of the worst abominations in the game industry selling unfinished extremely overpriced low quality wannabe clone of Fallout but with amateur writing. It would not surprise me if it turned out this result is not very different from the "in dev" versions that started to sell DLCs for in dev game.
i dont know what the fuss is about. they are NOT gating any actual content.. only some unique items. and anyone complaining.. i hope you have done the same exact thing regarding the VAST number of games under MUCH bigger publishers that release this kind of DLC.
also, as others have mentioned the game was kickstarted so it didnt have an EA publisher behind them... and many kickstarter games have these kind of items as rewards for backing them. so if you've purchased a kickstarter game, you've likely purchased other games with this kind of DLC release.
the 3 star rating is because i do see the other side of the argument to an extent. i would also prefer ALL items were included as part of the base game price. but again, this was a kickstarter. and as long as the DLCs are items and not story DLC, quests, etc. i can live with it. its really no different than game magazine codes or game genie cheats that were released back in the day.
The game has the potential to be great. Its a great start, and that's what it is, a start. That's why this game is in early access. For that I would probably rate the game a 3/5. However, given the DLC cash grab on an early access title, I have no choice in my principals but to give it a 1/5 and avoid playing it.
I'm sad that the developers are choosing to put developer resources into DLC packs instead of finishing up the title and getting it out of early access with a full suite of content.
I have play around ~12 hours even though I do not own it on GOG
Looked to be a promising Fallout clone with enough uniqueness to not just be a copy and had enough content to be worth taking a risk with but this DLC is ridiculous.
If the Devs need more money to continue development I'd rather they just come out and say it, I'd throw them another 20 dollars but I am most certainly not paying any amount of money for 'portrait packs' or some pay-to-win pack.
Hard pass until the Devs get their shit together.
