Description
Control the destiny of a fledgling civilization through as many as 500,000 years of human history. From meagre beginnings you must exploit the natural resources around you to build an empire capable of dominating the Earth. But your rise to supremacy will not go unchallenged. As was the case throughout history, rival civilizations are certain to oppose you every step of the way.

New technologies, buildings and weapons become available as your civilization progresses through history. But bear in mind that advancement does not necessarily mean success. Your civilization might flourish during one Epoch only to be crushed in the next...

One of my old school RTS games

if you enjoy Age of Empires II you going to love empire earth. If you running the game on Windows 7 or later there will be problems i guarantee. but there is a fix for windows 7, 8.1 & 10 You will need 3D Analyze http://www.3dfxzone.it/dir/tools/3d_analyze/download/ Start 3D Analyze run it as admin Select EE.exe or EE-AOC.exe and click on the little white box that is next to force max. Pixel shader version 1.1. Save this setup as a batch file. run the batch file you saved and enjoy your game :) why i didn't give it 5 stars? it would be great if the game comes with 3D Analyze with a premade batch file through 3d Analyze

`Good old Game`lol

I played it in former times when it came out. At this time it was THE SH*T because of this really nice feature to evolve until NANO Age. I started playing the game again a few days ago and i have to say it didn´t age well. I do not talk about the graphics or the behaviour of the AI. The game was made by the guy who also made Age of Empires earlier. I guess he wanted to do somethink fancy and new. In 2001 it WAS kind of fancy. But if you were looking for a real-time-strategy game just stay with Age of Empires. For all the others who played the game in former times. It was so cool to play the campagne again. So many nostalgic memories came up. I even had to laugh a lot because I didn´t remember how simple some dialogues were. Nevertheless it is a nice game! If you are new into real-time-strategy just dont start with this one :)

The peak of the RTS era.

This game steals so much of your time, it creates a warp bubble! I can hardly count how many times I have put into this game, creating my own civs, trying them out, each new game a new plan to rule the world, a new experiment, new play style. Also, it mixes Age of Empires and Civilization. Could it be any better? That's like mixing bacon with another bacon strip! Enough said.

An Oldie but a goodie

Empire Earth. Feel like The Antichrist, A tyranical mythological god, and a battlefield genious all at once. Use cheat codes to destroy your enimies or let them challange you by taking the high road. Not enough good things can be said about my childhood favorite. Its one of the many reasons I became a soldier myself. It is one of the greatest games I have ever played and at this price? Cant go wrong. Finally almost anything can play this, even my clunker can run this old game like a pro. Have a bad computer? No. Problem. 9/10 easy 5/5 because I HAD to round this bad boy up a star.

Great RTS.

EE is a rather unique RTS that is somewhat akin to Age of Empires, but stretches upon a much longer period of time. It also features new concepts like buildings (or units) with particular area effects or protections again specific things. The interesting twist of the game is that there's much more to balance between economy and military than there is in for example Age of Empires. However, you should know that this game has two particular 'nuisances': 1. Units, especially ships are navigating terribly and it's sometimes a random back and forth when moving since the one unit wants to go to another place than the other one does. 2. The AI itself is terrible (because the game is more complex than e.g. AoE) and employs an insane amount of cheats to be challenging. This is particularly problematic because the cheats make certain strategies that work against human players moot: For instance, AI enemies get a huge amount of resource income for 'free', i.e. they still get it even if there are no citizens working. That leads to strategic bombardment being not as effective as you'd think it to be, as destroying all town centers will only slightly slow down troop production if such facilities still exist. Overall, this leads to a battle against a AI player making a lot of strategies that would work against non-cheating players not working and alter the gameplay a lot.
