Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom

I was playing this game for past few year it is my favorite game , but I lost my disk when I change my pc. I was so exited when I saw this game was sold on gog. Then i bought it right away.

Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom is a solid city-builder from the 2000's era. Good soundtrack and gameplay, but could use a remaster or a proper HD mod.

Every one of these Sierra/Titled Mill games are forgotten gems. I played these obsessively when I was a kid. I even got to beta test Zeus and Children of the Nile back when beta testing actually meant something. I still have all of them except the Ceasar games on CD somewhere.

I turned off disasaters. 2 floods and an earthquake in 3-months. Frustrating. Otherwise cool city builder.

Has any of you encountered the "Abnormal Program Termination" issue over the Chang-an mission of Sui-Tang Period? I do feel pretty frustrated because each time I posit the Special Building on the map, the game completely stops and jumps out, pops up showing Abnormal Program Termination, and with that, I could not get the mission done. Does any of you have any idea how to handle it? Thanks.
