Terrible FPS issues from the start
Yeah...it stutters like crazy no matter my settings. Using a Radeon RX 6700XT so that shouldn't be the problem. I'll do some more research on how to solve this and if I don't get it fixed within the next hour I'll get a refund.

Not playable on Vega 56
I played each Piranha bytes game and pre-ordered most. I even loved Gothic 3 and forgave it's problems. But Elex 2 is really disappointing. On my Vega 56 I can only see the sky. Nothing more. And if I read the benchmark tests correctly, the performance / image quality ratio is not ok at all. This should not happen in 2021! Especially as the technical base is not really new. I'm very sad and hope they will learn again from this failed release as they did from Gothic 3.

Even more gothic in Space :)
And this is meant as a compliment ;) Absolutely solid RPG Old-School. No Hand-.Holding, no tutorials that just bore to death, no pc (!!!), but very solid story telling and gameplay. At the moment i have not tried any other language then the native german, and i hope the translations do it justice. But the german language track is one of the few game speech tracks that absolutely nails it, and not some lame-ass excuse for real talk. Love it :) In case you never played Gothic 1 or 2- this feels like it. In the best way possible imo. I can't understand what in some reviews is pinted out as eye-strain when combat starts. I got nothing of that, whith all grahipc options maxed out. One single point of critique- Jax now looks a bit like a Waschlappen. Then again, might be what is to expect after years of loafing ;)

Top open world RPG
Just finished - lvl 45, 95 hours. I do everything, pick up every stupid piece of trash, but it pays off in Pirhana Bytes games. When I got heavy weapons my game changed, but those guns are expensive to shoot! If I play through again I will try melee. Elex is Pirhana Bytes evolved. Fantastic world to explore, truly original world and lore concepts, but the jank is real. In it's time Skyrim was the best of the open world rpg's. Then Witcher 3 was top dog. In my mind the Elex series is the reigning champ...for now :) Elder Scrolls 6 is coming, Starfield, Avowed from Obsidian - exciting times my friends! I wish CDPR had gone a different direction that cyberpunk. I have no desire to play that one.
