Quite amazing

Of course this is difficult to recommend to the masses/casual gamers, but it can be an enjoyable game and is definitely unique. If you are not bored/annoyed/freaking out within the first hour of gameplay, then this is probably for you. It's good to know what to expect though (PB style). It definitely lacks a proper modding community though (due to no official support), but there are some useful mods existing already and it seems that more are coming with time. Who knows, maybe someone will remaster this in future.

Great Fantasy RPG

As a piranha bytes fan, I liked playing through this game. The world is well built, quests are fun, graphics look nice and run well. I very much enjoyed the game and can recommend it.

Not bad, but causes motion sickness

I really wanted to play the game, and liked it, but after about 5-10 minutes I get very bad motion sickness, nausea. Sadly it has no fov slider, and even if I change the fov in the xml ini file it does nothing. Also the camere makes very sudden movements and changes all the time, this does not help either....

A robust successor to Gothic

I was very afraid of this game. Honestly. I was waiting for something like Risen. Instead, I got a game that feels more like Gothic 2 and plays the same. And now I am happy with it. Of course, game has it's flaws, like strange jump and fall animation, a little bit outdated graphics (I really suggest to slap Reshade upon Elex, it makes miracles). But know what? Those "flaws" are actually features of PB games we all used to at this day and age. In short. You want a good and interesting RPG experience? Buy and play Elex.
