The Dungeon Lord is back – and this time he’s serious! In Dungeons 2, fulfil the Dungeon Lord’s insatiable quest for vengeance by recruiting fearsome new monsters from all corners of the underworld in order to undertake his evil bidding. Taking over the underworld isn’t enough though – this time The Dungeon Lord will extend his dominion over the puny humans and attempt to conquer the overworld too!
Take control of the mighty Dungeon Lord and craft a network of unique and terrifying dungeons, recruit an army of fearsome creatures and command two new factions. Prepare to defend your Kingdom against those pesky heroes, go above ground to wage war on their human cities and use the ‘Hand of Terror’ to take direct control over your minions, issue commands, and even dish out a swift slap to keep them in line.
The extensive campaign story mode is packed with even more of the dark humour which made the original Dungeons a hit and is peppered with numerous references to various fantasy books, movies and TV shows. Additionally, you can test your strength in four different game modes in multiplayer for up to four players with other Dungeon Lords over LAN or online.

Leave the darkness of the underworld, and venture to the overworld and leave the beautiful cities of the humans in ruins
Four competitive multiplayer modes for up to four players via LAN and Internet

Sry calypso it may be a fun game but i don't want to play it because of its's extreme small view angle.
You have to scroll all the time like idiot, its terrible. You can not zoom out a lot.
I finished palying the game because of that after the first toutorial mission.
Wasted money. (Steam version)
This game is a lot of fun. It doesn't have the strategic depth that the Dungeon Keeper or War for the Overworld series have, but if you played these more for the Sim Dungeon and story aspects then you will really enjoy this one.
Like a lot of people, I bought the hype of the original Dungeons, one of the last (if not the last) pre-orders I ever made. That was such a hugely immensely disappointing game I put it away after half an hour never to go back.
Dungeons 2 makes up for its predecessor and then some. It is quite a lovely game to play, although the way it constantly steals jokes and lines from other games (Lord of the Rings, Warcraft, etc. etc.) is really _really_ annoying. Gameplay wise, it's very similar to Dungeon Keeper 2. There are two playable factions, although you'll spend most of the game playing one.
I think I actually prefer Dungeons 2 over War for the Overworld as the former lets me play the way I wish (slowly) whilst WftO was a race against time always and I didn't like it. Plus, it plays exceptionally smoothly and WftO was extremely slow and janky (note I haven't played it since shortly after it was released, it may be better now - it's next on the list!)
All in all, a really surprising game compared to its utterly rubbish predecessor.
I played dungeon keeper and dungeon keeper 2 and some time later I played dungeons. The game is similar to dungeon keeper but different and worth playing. I had a lot of fun and loved playing it.
Dungeons 2 has clear inspiration from Dungeon Keeper--although with a mix of more traditional RTS elements. I found the first couple of missions as a great tutorial and had little trouble getting into the game. The campaign difficulty is a tad on the easy side but it is still very enjoyable. The campaign lenghth was a little short but only leaves you wanting more.
I like that you have the option as playing the Demons or Horde factions. I wish you could fight vs computers vs other AI dungeon evils in MP (team vs would have been great!). A random dungeon generator for skirmish would have been welcome (even if the overland maps didn't change--it would be nice to specify parameters like how many infinite gold veins and how many dungeon entrances.
A possession/first-person view would have been nice to view and wander around your dungeon like the original Dungeon Keeper too (especially since the art is nice). And color variation in the soft rock would've been ice.
