Why The Fuss?
Why is everyone fussing about it not working on Win7? Just got it and it works flawlessly.

Problem Keeper
I really like this game and bought it as soon as it came out but it has so many problems. In the original game while playing My Pet Dungeon you could take heroes out of the box and place them straight in the prison, in this version you have to fight them. I was playing this game on my Vista PC (which was designed for gaming) and as soon as a fight breaks out the game stops working. The game works better on my 7 Laptop (not designed for gaming) but still has these issues after playing for a while or when there is too much action on the screen. It can't be the game because Rollercoaster Tycoon works perfectly fine on both machines. This is one of my all time top favourite games but is close to unplayable, it needs fixing. I would suggest waiting until the game gets patched before buying it. Trust me if that happens it would have been worth the wait. Once this is no-problem playable game it will be a 5 star game.

Love this game!
Great game, but if you are having crashes check out this guide. Win 7, 64 bit and the game has not crash for me after making these changes: http://www.esotericarticles.com/Dungeon_Keeper_2_Vista.html

Fantastic game
This game is one of my personal favorites and it is still the best of its kind while of course there isn't many of this kind of game around. Game still feels fresh and it's enjoyable to play. Playing campaign before skirmish is recommered. I think it's more exciting to get new types of creatures, rooms and rooms one by one as you progress through campaign. If you still haven't given it a try go ahead. You won't be disappointed. About compatibility on Windows 7: I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64bit and I just played two hours without a glitch. The shortcut installer creates on your desktop has the necessary compatiblity tweaks needed to run this game (Win2000, disable visual themes and dekstop composition, run as admin). TD;DR: Great game for great price. Even if you have Windows 7, don't hesitate to buy this. It works just fine!

Such a great game!
I was a bit uncertain whether to buy this or not, given the many reviews claiming it did not work on W7. But I did it anyway and am incredibly happy about it. It works with no problems so far on W7 64 bit. It does need to run in compatibility mode though. The game itself is just as good as I remember it. Last I played it was close to 11 years back. Thank you GoG for letting me play this once again.
