I just want to say to all the reviews who say this does not work on windows 7 that I have gotten it to run two separate computers with windows 7 without any issue. It runs slowly in the menu but otherwise runs fine. It is a prefect game and it should not be voted down just because a user is having technical problems.

ok, I've been playing 'round 4 hours since yesterday (3 continuous). On a PC with XP and a Nvidia card and I must say it has worked real good: D I knew I had to buy this game. So many memories.

Such an incredible classic. For all those who are having issues in windows 7, it's all fixable. Run in compatibility mode and test with different settings. In my case, it would crash with highest resolution but it runs perfect in 600x800.

This is one of my favorite games of ALL times. I see a lot of people complaining that it doesn't work in Windows 7 but that's the ONLY reason I'm using Windows 7. Microsoft straight up removed some of my favorite features from Windows XP with Win7 but I can't play any old games in Windows XP at all. With Windows 7, all you have to do is make a shortcut and use the Windows XP compatibility mode. Which seems really weird to me. For me it crashes on startup every time when I run in in WinXP. But if I run it in Win7 with WinXP compatibility, it runs great.

Game crashes constantly during game-play, clicking buttons, or trying to save a game before it crashes ironically. Love the game which makes this a much bigger disappointment.
