Absolute Classic
I purchased this game back in 1999 and its still as good as I remember it. If you missed out on this classic the first time round, I would highly recommend you give it a try. The game blends both RTS and RPG elements seamlessly and taking care of your creatures needs is a rewarding challenge. The game runs fine in Windows 8, just a shame that there is no support for higher resolutions such as 1080p... there is also a bug with windows 8 that only allows the game to be playable in 640x480. Windows 7 users should have no problems...

Excellent port
Everyone here probably knows that this is a great game, and I must take my hat off to GOG for excellent engine rewrite. I've had zero crashes while playing and only a single crash when alt-tabbing in over 30 hours clocked on Windows 7. Too bad you didn't include fixed maps (Original 1.7 patch made certain high level creeps not spawn on end levels) but those can be found with ease in the interwebs anyway.

Unplayable!
DK2 is my favourite game of all time. Unfortunately this port does not work and it's completely unstable. £7 for a game i can't play is actually daylight robbery!
