Description
An authoritarian state pacifying the masses with propaganda.

A brutal police force that shoots first then shoots some more.

An ordinary everyman named Eugene, dragged by coincidence and circumstance from a life of mundane menial tasks into a baffling world of sudden, inexplicable murder, hidden conspiracy and unrelentingly lethal robots with nasty sharp pincers and lasers coming out of everywhere.

Depicted in a distinctive Cyrillic pixel art style the cyberpunk city crackles with tech-noir intrigue and neo-digital deceptions. Using every tool at your disposal help Eugene to unpick the knot of mystery that he has become enmeshed within – your equilibrium will be rocked as you point and click a path through this briar patch of tangled meaning and unexpected quixotic quirks.

Will Eugene make sense of the conundrum that unfolds before him, learn who is an ally or a foe and collect lots of vinyl records for his listening pleasure? He'll race rapid hover bikes to earn sub-cultural respect, rub shoulders with high society in a post-modern nightclub, hack the brains of pursuing drone cops in thrill-packed chase sequences, strive to survive tense shootouts with merciless law enforcers and enjoy some 8-bit cowboy coin-op action in a dingy dive bar with a broken toilet.
  • Multiple Endings
  • Unique blend of action and point and click
  • Wacky Russians!

Just a pretty bad game overall

As others have mentioned the controls in this game are terrible. They're slow, they're counter-intuitive, and they aren't any better regardless of input method. I tried using the keyboard, point and click, and a gamepad and all three options were just as clunky. The game is also very short it took me about 4 hours to complete the game even with getting stuck retrying a terrible arcade sequence several times. Though the game card boasts of multiple endings there are only two that are solely determined by a decision at the end of the game, there is no replay value there, nothing else during done during the game changes the outcomes as far as I can tell. As I previously mentioned, I got stuck on a couple of the arcade sequences. They were incredibly difficult, not because of the games difficulty, but because of the terrible controls. The game is actually very easy outside of the artificial difficulty presented by the bad control scheme. I really wanted to like this game. It started out very promising with its atmosphere and initial presentation, but it just got let down by the bad controls and terrible arcade sequences that just make you want to quit in frustration. The parts of the game that are closer to the adventure game genre were actually fun. Had they made a game that was solely built around that with more sneaking around and espionage gameplay like in some parts and if it were longer with a more fleshed out story this game could have been a four star game.

Short, clunky and cheap-feeling

I had to get it and I don't regret it as I'm a fan of the genres of cyberpunk and classic dystopia, but the game feels very cheap (dialogues in text form pop up when you step in front of someone, being able to pretty much "rewind them" going back in front of them), the controls and puzzles are clunky and the plot is generic and adds nothing new.
