Dread Templar

A blast of a game to play. It's meaty and fun from the first level and doesn't relent until the last boss drops. Between the Super Secret and the Nightmare and + options it had enough replay value to bring me back for another round less than a month later. No terrible dialogue or cutscenes and nothing woke. The heavy metal and norse soundtracks as well as the nods to Doom and other FPS OSTs were amazing and my only complaint about the music is the desire that there were more tracks. John S. Weekley can triumphantly take his place next to the other greats of the Boom Shoot composer pantheon.

I bought this game because of all the inde fps games I'm following wasn't out yet of early access, and this was. But I'm sure not disappointed at all. Combat is fast paced, as well as the music, the art style is gorgeous. Love the level design as well, there is space to explore, yet it doesn't feel empty. It would be okay without the skill system already, but I love when games have their own little quirks like that. The only thing I think it's a bit weird that, monsters doesn't seem to have collision, but that's just a small little thing to nit pick about.

like Quake with crazier weapons and an upgrade/customization with quite a few enemy types etc.

This game is fun and challenging!

Straightforward - Fast - Entertaining - Great Soundtrack and smooth controls. Great to unwind and feeling old (school). ;D
