Crash Fest

Nice that it supposedly works on modern Windows out of the box, but it keeps crashing for me nonetheless, and doesn't run as smooth as Steam version with LAA patch applied.

always a masterpiece

Been playing the old Bioware games for years. started with Kotor. Dragon Age: Origins is one of my favorites and will always recommend it to everyone that loves RPGs.

Dragon Age Origins is Amazing

CAUTION: The port to PC doesn't work without downloading a few old softwares to run them. (Especially on Windows 11 ugh) It kept breaking when I tried to run into Ostagar, and took quite a bit of trouble shooting to fix. The game, however, once running, is always going to be one of the best RPG's created.

GOG fixed the game

Great work GOG for fixing this game. I am 16 hours in and the game is not crashing. Ironically, GOG Galaxy crashed for me a few times. Since I turned off cloud synch, even that stopped crashing. Dragon Age Origins is working perfectly for me right now. I also have this game from Steam. Over there, it is unplayable. GOG fixed the game!
