Dragon Age™: Origins - Ultimate Edition

The narrative is where this game really shines. Characters, quests & main story all felt really compelling and I very rarely felt like dialogue options were lacking. Combat was mostly on point with basic encounters being either a bit too frequent or too unengaging while boss fights all felt tactical and fun (Hard difficulty). My biggest gripe would probably be the pretty slow movement speed (get Haste asap) and occasional boring & tedious level design. Decent amount of bugs but nothing game ruining and most if not all seemed fixable with community patches.

This is the game that started all the Dragon Age releases. All the features of the original are supported, the mods work properly, and console commands are supported. My only complaint it that the console commands need to be used in Awakening to access all of the content. I've found no problems with the DLC adventures.

One of the best RPG's of all time

I've heard great things about this game but have not been able to progress past the introduction cutscene withut the game crashing. Bought the game on GOG rather than Steam due to forums stating the GOG versin was stable. It is not.

Should defently try if never expirienced, and come back if did it sometime ago
