Dracula: The Resurrection
Based on the characters from Bram Stoker's suspenseful novel, Dracula: The Resurrection takes you forward seven years from Jonathan Harker's faithful rescue of his fiancée Mina from the fangs of Dracula. Now married and comfortably living in London, Jonathan thinks his nightmare is behind him until he comes home to find a letter from his wife, who was bitten by Dracula several years ago on the night of his death. Unable to ignore her call for blood, she is returning to Transylvania. Jonathan's search for his wife - and his life - will take you through an Inn, Caverns, a Rail System and Dracula's Castle on his desperate passage to bring Mina back to London.

Dracula: The Last Sanctuary
As Jonathan Harker, you know that your wife, Mina, trapped under the Vampire's spell, will never be safe as long as Dracula is still alive. You must hunt down Dracula in an attempt to vanquish him forever. Follow a lethal trail in a chase from London back to Transylvania: from an insane asylum to Dracula's castle, and through an underground prison littered with the bones of forgotten men, arriving finally at Dracula's Last Sanctuary.

Dracula: The Path of the Dragon
Father Arno has been sent to Vladoviste in Transylvania, a small town still recuperating from battle after the First World War. He's on a mission from the Vatican to investigate the life of a deceased woman reputed to be a saint. As night falls and the last train pulls away, something evil lurks across the graves of fallen soldiers, and Father Arno's nightmarish visions are becoming all too real.

Amazing adventure game package

I will go against the flow. While the first two Dracula games are awesome, it is the third one, Dracula 3 The Path of the Dragon, that - to me - is the most atmospheric adventure game I have ever played. While Dracula 3 will open in a window out of the box, it is possible to make it run full screen in Windows 10 if you follow the following steps: (1) Go to the game directory. (2) Open the config.ini file in a text editor. (3) Change the line bFullScreen=0 into bFullScreen=1. Save the file. (4) Go to the PC Gaming Wiki page for the game: https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dracula_3:_The_Path_of_the_Dragon. (5) Scroll down to the section for the Blank screen on Windows 10 issue or follow the link https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dracula_3:_The_Path_of_the_Dragon#Blank_screen_on_Windows_10. (6) Download WinD3D from the link shown there. (7) Unzip the downloaded WineD3DForWindows_2.6.zip file and copy all the contents of the zip (not just the DLLs for DirectX 9) to the game folder. (8) Right click on the dracula3.exe file in the game folder and set the compatibility to Windows XP (Service Pack 2). That's it. In my case (Windows 10 64-bit running on Ryzen 5 2600 with Geforce GTX 1660 ti) Dracula 3 runs full screen flawlessly. Again, this is an amazing package and I cannot thank GOG enough for making it available. I give it a full five stars wholeheartedly.

Resurrection and Sanctuary - Oh, Yes!.

At the time they came out, the graphics in Resurrection and Sanctuary were stunning; they still are, for the most part and not only in the cut scenes. I stayed far too long in the underground dungeon just looking around. (Ignore the plastic hair and the odd, static barrier of energy you see at one point.) If you like a beautiful game, this is it. I say 'this' because these two are really one game. They far outshine Path of the Dragon because they are not only gorgeous, with a properly menacing Dracula and some interesting puzzles but they are FUN to play, something that got left out of The Path of the Dragon which is one of the dreariest games I've ever slogged through and Dracula, when he does appear at long last, looks more like a Chicago thug than the Prince of Darkness. No woman in her right mind would offer her lily white throat to that. But gloomy and depressing as The Path of the Dragon is, as teeth-grinding as the puzzles are, it's still far, far better than the fourth installment in which Dracula does not even appear and for some reason the developer doesn't even tell you that if you don't play the prologue you miss half this short game. Four should be the freebie, not the immensely better ones that precede it.

Classic games but poorly supported

These are classic adventure games, easily recommendable to fans of the genre. They're more horror-themed than actually horror - no one is likely to be frightened by them. They don't have quite as much personality as the true icons of the genre but the interface is smooth, they're rewarding without being punishing, and they don't outstay their welcome. Unfortunately, neither Dracula 2 nor Dracula 3 work out-of-the-box on modern systems, and both games will require a trip to the forums to get them up and running. It's disappointing when it would only take a simple fix from GOG to make the default installation work properly.

Not dumb enigmas like the others

The developers chose for those games a historical approach and documented of the famous myth built around Dracula. The texts are excellent, particularly those on Von Kruger and Irina Bocsow who defend remarkably their point of view on vampires belief ^^ The dubbing is very good, even for Dracula who had a few difficult lines. Maria's dubber is however the worst in the group (for example when she says "maybe it was more than dreams" it sounds totally ridiculous). I liked the two littles games on probability (optional) of the bohemian and in general the "intelligent" aspect of the games, a little maths in a video game is very rare but it feels good. The enigmas are really difficult and well found (especially the one with granulocytes and the one with pictures to develop which are certainly two of the best enigmas ever offered in a video game) You've understood we're far from idiot capcom-ish enigmas like "insert the cube in the cubical hole"...

Only 4 stars ?

Usually I agree with GOG players, but now... It's the first time I play a "point & click", and I'm happily surprised. Nice graphics, interesting story on vampire myths. A lot of references really interesting (for example, there is the full novel "Dracula" from Bram Stoker, in english). There are beautiful musics. I found the enigmas interesting. Only bad point is the linearity of the game. But in all, they are good adventure games, really interesting, that I recommand highly.
