Most annoying game ever
I bought Divinity: Original Sin over 5 years ago. I have tried to play it many, many times, and have never survived the Tutorial. I didn't even know I was IN a tutorial until today, when I tried to click on an alternative exit and got told that I should complete the tutorial first! Having spent literally hours smashing chests open and destroying my weapons, I finally decided that I really wanted a rogue with lock picking. So, I changed one of the starting characters to a rogue, then changed one of his skills to lock-picking. Then it wouldn't let me save the character because I couldn't choose lock-picking, only I DID choose lock-picking, but I didn't have the abilities to choose it. It wouldn't tell me WHAT abilities I needed, what the minimum score required was, or anything else which might have helped me to actually obtain lock-picking. What a useless tutorial, and a pathetic example of how to create an enjoyable game.

Too many locked invincible doors!!!!!
I really wanted to like this game. But the Russian Storytelling of find " How to Open Doors" is just plain bad. I had it with their locked doors. every quest has a locked door with no hints on how to open it most of the time. So you waste time looking for the answer until you realize you are wasting your time and you cannot find an answer. I liked the combat system and the story was not bad but the frustration it builds with the always jamming locked doors in front of you is 2 much

Dated game
This game is pretty dated. There is a lot about how it works that makes me have a lot of problems, the way to build characters is very weird and hard to grasp at first, there is no respec until much later in the game, and it is very limited. Combat feels like a chore sometimes, it's barely any fun, I tried to just get through the game quickly and move on to Original Sin 2, but gave up around halfway through it
